Its actually doing better then the older PMD games did in the same time frame. I'm not worried.
Watch SymphogearA million in less than a month is pretty good in the grand scheme of things.

Explorers is so goood. I'm kinda worried a remake would screw it up, like what happened to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Rescue Team DX is honestly a perfect remake of the original. The story and dialogue are kept identical, but the game has just enough new features to feel like you're playing a new game... even though it still feels like a nostalgia trip to the old one.
With the graphical improvements and the storybook artstyle, if they do the exact same thing for Explorers it'll actually just be a perfect game.
...albeit hopefully with some balance changes. multihit moves are OP, and the map layouts in DX were a bit more bland with their random generation than in the original Rescue Team or Explorers.

Good. I don't want a MM 3 D here, where it creates new problems from the original game and doesn't fix the flaws that the original had.
PMD sells well. The problem is that I think they remade the wrong game. Remakes of the DS games would have sold well. The series suffers from Sequel Displacement.

I too hope for an Explorers remake, but I'd like if they're a little more confident about actually remastering the music. Rescue Team DX played it too safe, to the point that they still sound like GBA chiptunes. The two boss themes in particular suffer from it.
Wouldn't mind if the script also cut back on the gratuitous flashbacks and Parrot Exposition, but I don't think they'll touch that at all.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!#822.5 - Corvisquire fight many battles, learning and growing from each fight. As they age, some of their plumage becomes coated in a steel-like substance that grants them greater protection from attacks. Their growing strength leaves Corvisquire with a fearless attitude and fierce confidence; many say that any Pokémon foolish enough to challenge a maturing Corvisquire are sent running with just a sharp glare and cry from their beak. A full grown Corvisquire - a Corviknight - possesses superb flying skills and high intelligence; because of this, many of them work for the company called Galar Taxi, helping transport people from town to town.
Probably for the best that they tested the waters with a Rescue Team remake first. There are still a couple of oddities, like how every Pokemon can use a basic attack except whoever the player is controlling.
My musician pageIs there anywhere that has an image of every confirmed cancelled Pokemon design?
I feel like one could even flush out a regional dex using most of them.

Dr. Lava
has some cut content and translated interviews from pokemon games. His content is genuinely interesting, but his site is somewhat hard to navigate...

PMD seems like it's underselling. I didn't even know it had already released until a month after it came out.
