Ah yes, and in only Japanese versions of Diamond and Pearl.
Get Out of Our Home. You're half-right: the Surf Glitch does only work in the Japanese versions, but the Tweaking Glitch is possible in the others.
...never mind. I have done that before.

Okay so i'm trying to do a dragon run in ultra sun, and decide to wonder trade or GTS for a dragon "starter" in place of rowlett. I've done I want to say nearly 20 wonder trades so far without a single dragon but I got
- a shiny chimchar
- the event genesect(shiny, lvl 100 with metwonite y)
- traded the shiny chimchar and got a shiny grumpig in return.
- at least 3 different starters in addition to said chimchar
wonder trade is crazy. I'm convinced the genesect and any shiny really is hacked is hacked especially since you can't even trade that genesect.

Made a bit of a flub in Crystal, but didn't waste anything except time.
Decided to do the post Ecruteak areas in an oddball order, going for the Lake of Rage first.
But then I realized today was Friday with a couple of hours left. (Although I could just adjust the clock admittedly).
So I went to grab Lapras in Union Cave, but messed up and thought I needed Strength.
Not wanting to wait a week, I ended up running straight up the Lighthouse, to Cianwood and back to Jasmine, lucking though Steelix with a lvl 29 Graveler several decent Magnitudes and 3 misses of Iron Tail.
Then I get back the the cave and realize I just took the wrong route though the cave :P
Not a huge deal really, I just prefer combing though areas and getting everything and every trainer.
"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobGuess who is in a pokemon marathon again
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"I think Johnny's assessment of Gen 3 is as fair as someone with his background can be towards it, though I wish he would have said more in favor of the Battle Frontier due it's being the most expansive piece of post-game content at that point.
Jeez hala almost beat me haha. His machop's revenge hurts and noibat can't kO anything by himself.
So. . . I have a question about the CGI remake of the first movie they're doing this year. No, not Detective Pikachu, but this one. Two questions, really.
1. Is it supposed to take place in the same alternate timeline as the last two movies?
2. Do you think we're ever going to get an actual movie set during the Alola arc?
- I dunno. Is Power Of Us in the same continuity as I Choose You?
- Doesn't look like it. Which is a damn shame. When it comes to Pokemon movies, I'm almost always Just Here for Godzilla, and I was really hyped to see the Ultra Beasts on a movie budget.
I think all of the Ultra Beast have shown up in the anime and been dealt with so there really aren't any left to get a movie focused on them. Granted you could argue that they should have saved one to deal with in a movie but it's a bit too late for that now. Same with using all the legendaries for other movies/episodes.
That being said, Rainbow Rocket is a thing and while a movie would be too short to cover the entire story from the games they could probably do their own thing with Rainbow Rocket as a team.
I think it can be fairly said they have absolutely zero intention of doing any type of Alola movie.
They've covered pretty much all the important shit in the series itself. And with Gen 8 about to start soon, it's painfully clear that Alola is just not worth a feature film in their minds.
One Strip! One Strip!M22 looks like it will be a nearone to one remake of M1 with a few minor differences, like what Pokemon Ash and Bulbasaur fight at the beginning of the film and Mewtwo's armor.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Will they even cover Rainbow Rocket in the anime?
I doubt it. Team Rocket (as a whole; not those three) already appeared during the late part of the Necrozma arc. I feel like that was their reference to Rainbow Rocket.
One Strip! One Strip!Doing my Pokemon things before Gen 8 comes out, and I'm up to my final breeding project, Riolu.
So, how I do things is that I want to combine the best egg moves I have into all the Pokeballs I want to put it into, and it just so happens I have a lot of both◊.
The first quadrant are all the egg moves I have on all the Riolu/Lucario I have, the 2nd quadrant is the Pokeballs I want to put them in, then the 3rd one are the moves I want to put on Riolu that would be good on them, and those moves (or some combination of them) will be on all the Pokeballs I have, and the 4th quadrant are the "bad" moves, the moves that I think are the least likely to be good on the Riolu line, but I don't wanna lose them just in case. I won't put them on all the balls I have, just a handful, whatever the moves just so happen to be on.
Then there's the matter of evolving Riolu in the day, with high happiness, just to breed more, which is what I've dreaded the most. I have enough berries, I can change the clock to make it more convenient for me, it's just... ugh.
Edit: ... There's a 7:1 male to female ratio, I completely forgot. Much better.

Goddammit, Schezo...So i need a little advice, i've been replaying Pokemon Leaf green in preparation for transfer all the way to Alola, but in order to evolve Haunter i need to trade, problem is,the only person i have available to trade with has a pirated copy from a game convention, Now all i want to do is to get a Gengar, to take it against Blue's Alakahzam, are their any consequences trading with a pirated copy? Will it result in Bad eggs?
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Hmm... all I can think of is test it with some random trade fodder or trade evo you don't plan to actually use to see exactly what will happen.
Goddammit, Schezo...I'm just concerned it might fry my game. Or we can't trade at all. 50/50
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult. So as we approach the 8th Generation, I'm curious on everyone's retrospective going in.
I was talking with someone who used to be a fan, but feels the series became "trash" after Gen 5 and hopes things improve for Gen 8. I asked him why he felt that way and he's just not a fan of the modern features and gimmicks like Mega Evolution and Z moves and feels the emphasis on story is an overall detriment.
So, its caused me to kind of look back on this series and how I feel about it as well.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does....Didn't Gen 5 also emphasize story?
¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"He hates Gen 5's story, but it didn't have any of the gimmicks he hated and still "felt" like a Pokemon game to him.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.
Another time-consuming challenge from Johnstone. How easily you can complete Professor Oak's Challenge in Pokemon Gold and Silver? For those who've never heard of the Oak Challenge, you need to complete the Pokédex as much as possible for any given number of badge you can get at that point of the game.
