Probably pretty long actually.

Not sure where the dub is, but I believe it's quite far behind.

We're 24 episodes behind according to Serebii, so about half a year.

It's been 3000 years…

TBH I'm not overly fond of the JP voices for some of the cast. Like sophocles sounds terrible in japanese IMO. I hope guzma gets done justice at least.

Patrat:

#504.5 - Patrat are extremely cautious, and work together in tightly knit coteries to keep safe. There is always one Patrat acting as lookout, and although they take shifts to maintain constant watch of their nest, an individual can keep watch for days by using food stored in their cheek pouches. They use their white tails to signal to other Patrat. As these Pokemon age, they will beginning to scare off predators by spitting out stored berry seeds, or by intimidating opponents with the luminescent patches on their body.

I like that in progress Patrat is doing the stop gesture as if it's traffic officer.

Remember the Monpoke trademark from last year?

Turns out its a branding for toddler Pokemon merch.

Last time I make a concept about checking Landorus Therian but I didn't take his OU Flyinium Z set into consideration. Thankfully, Landorus doesn't use Gravity or Smack Down anymore, so let's try that again!

Landorus Check: Take 2

A Pokmeon that can usually check one of the top threat, Landorus.

Type: Steel

Ability: Levitate

Hidden: Trace

Stats:
HP: 60
Attack: 60
Defense: 112
Sp. Attack: 115
Sp. Defnese: 90
Speed: 93
Overall: 530

Notable moves: Flash Cannon, Ice Beam, Volt Switch, Hidden Power, Spikes

Going for a pure Steel-type this time around since it resists Hidden Power Ice.

damage calc for both OU and DOU Landorus
(the spread for this mon is Timid with 252 Sp Atk, 4 Def, and 252 Speed.)

Ice Beam on Landorus Theiran: 252 HP / 28 Sp Def Landorus-Therian 420-496 (109.9 - 129.8%) — guaranteed OHKO (Yache Berry ensure Landorus will live, however)

Choice Scarf OU:

244 Atk Landorus-Therian Stone Edge: 53-63 (20.3 - 24.1%) — guaranteed 5HKO

Z-Fly OU:

252 Atk Landorus-Therian Supersonic Skystrike: (53.6 - 63.2%) — guaranteed 2HKO

Defensive:

0 Atk Landorus-Therian U-turn: 31-37 (11.8 - 14.1%) — possible 8HKO

Suicide Lead OU:

252 Atk Landorus-Therian Explosion: (50.9 - 60.1%) — guaranteed 2HKO

Bulky Pivot DOU:

0- Atk Landorus-Therian Knock Off (97.5 P): (30.2 - 35.6%) — 32.1% chance to 3HKO

Tectonic Rage DOU:

252+ Atk Landorus-Therian Stone Edge: 59-69 (22.6 - 26.4%) — 21.4% chance to 4HKO

Choice Scarf DOU (This one has a bunch of special moves):

0- Atk Landorus-Therian Stone Edge: 40-48 (15.3 - 18.3%) — possible 6HKO

Oh yeah, there's Superpower, but it has been relegated as an other option. Though it might pick that up again because of this Pokemon...

Hey, what do you use as a damage calculator for your theorymons? I've been looking for something like that, but most of the calcs I can find it's hard to freely modify stats and stuff.

Okay, any breeders online? i have a question, so i have a female Gligar with Perfect I Vs except for Special attack, while i have a male Gligar with no perfect I Vs, how do i pass on the Perfect I Vs?

[up][up] Normally, three I Vs are passed down from random parents and the remaining three are rolled entirely at random. If one of the parents holds a Destiny Knot, five I Vs are passed down and only one is random, but which parent does the passing is still random. You can use the Power items to pass one specific IV from a particular parent, but using both means not using the Everstone to pass down the correct Nature.

Generally it’s an iterative process; once you have a breeding stock with the right egg moves and nature, you produce a few eggs with your perfect Ditto, using Destiny Knot and Everstone to preserve stats as much as possible, then breed the best result of that back with said Ditto, then keep doing that until you have 5 I Vs where the lesser IV is the Attack stat you’re not using.

Or grind it up to 100 and Hyper Train it, which is necessary if you’re going for a particular Hidden Power or this is a legendary we’re talking about.

Why does everyone assume they'll have a perfect ditto?

AgentKirin Since: Aug, 2017
#172241: Mar 27th 2019 at 10:25:34 PM

If only Ditto could breed with each other, then having one or more perfect Ditto would actually be feasible. Is that too much to ask, Game Freak?

</rant>

Anyway, I just get as close as I can with something in the right egg group. It tends to work pretty well. It's super easy to chain for 4IV Pokemon if you're well-prepared. Catch a pair of those, and they (usually) have a decent chance of producing 5IV offspring. Which you can then use for something else later. The more breeding you do, the easier it gets, since you have more to work with.

I just asked how to pass on the perfect IVS of the Female Gligar. And no I don't have a ditto. But thanks.

It's really hard to get a perfect IV Ditto; in all honesty, I just assume that most of the perfect Dittos that are used for breeding were hacked. Maybe not by the person using it, but by someone who gave them to someone else.

sucks that Dex Nav isn't a thing anymore cause I used it for grinding 3 star Dittos. Sure was nice of GF to put them in bloody caves though.

There’s a subreddit that literally gives perfect Ditto away. I got my one from Wonder Trade.

Passimian and Oranguru with their hidden abilities Defiant and Symbiosis respectively are being distributed on Pokemon Bank.

Symbiosis passes the held item to an ally once they use theirs. So it's probably situationally useful in Doubles and useless in Singles.
