Poison/Dark is probably the most edgy type combination of all

That would be Ghost/Dark

Prior to Gen VI, Ghost/Dark was a type combination with no weaknesses because the resistances of both types cancelled out the other type's weakness.

Mega Sableye would have been almost unkillable because of that if not for Fairies lol

I think Dawn's Piplup wasn't so popular because back when Togepi was the only other non-Pikachu/Meowth tagalong, they were not welcome at all, and Piplup didn't start out as a tagalong Pokemon.

The real edgiest combo is Dark/Dragon.

Nah, Psyduck's more like Wobbuffet, who pops out of the Poke Ball every episode as a joke. What I'm talking about are Pokemon that are always out and about, such as Ash's Pikachu or Iris's Axew.

They kinda dragged out the revelation that he actually knows attacks for a bit too long.

Like, I would understand maybe thinking it's annoying with all the crying, but it was a literal infant, they cry. Only assholes are mean to babies for crying. What, were there people who hated May's Squirtle or Brock's Bonsly, too?

I can imagine. Not everyone likes infant-like characters.

I was indifferent to Togepi and Dawn's Piplup myself, actually. They were there, had their moments, I liked some of those moments and forgot everything else.

I like Togepi and Togekiss but dislike Togetic. It just suffers from awkward middle stage syndrome.

Togetic seems unfinished, Piloswine suffers from the same problem.

I forget, but if Seed Bomb is a TM, they're reusable in XY.

Seed Bomb is a tutor move in ORAS. I say get rid of Vine Whip.
