Yup, I didn't think Dunce would end up being of use, who knew
. Now I just gotta train up skarmory to high 30s/low 40s and same thing for Hera. Now for nicknames...I'm torn between tropey nicks and names based off of their origin of their name(like the japanese beetle or whatever it is for Heracross, for example), hmm.....

Skar won't be going Wifi, least not on this "team". I tohught about using magneton ingame, but I hadn't used skarmory since my Ruby days(served as a contender in my ingame roster for a long time, up to around level 80 I think), so I figured I'd use it again
. Gosh, it was even simpler then(and I ain't that old lol).
So right, I bought a copy of Emerald today *. Whoever played it before me was a bad player since there were only their party pokemon and one Abra in the box. I transferred them over to Pearl and I'm going to start over.
I wanna speed run through the game though so I can get to the Battle Tower and exploit the item duplication glitch. What is a good team for speedrunning through Emerald? I'm thinking of using Mudkip as a starter because of Swampert's general awesomeness but I'm not sure who else should take the other five speedrun slots.
It's rather odd getting pokerus in the wild before ever finding a shiny, though. I mean, getting a shiny is about 3 times as likely as encountering a wild pokemon with pokerus, especially when you are way more likely to flee from said pokemon (Goddammed Bats) then actually fighting/catching it.
I feel really lucky.
I've JUST started to look at stats. Trying to get the right natures seems wayyy too hard for me at the moment.
New User HandleCool! I was never so lucky, though my little sister got it on her Crystal cart (and she, too, never encountered any shinies).
It Just Bugs MeI got a pokemon with pokerus from the GTS. Now half of my boxed pokemon have it.
Also, I managed to breed a Jolly Heracross with 31 IVs in attack and speed, male, and with Guts. It took me the entire weekend.
Am I taking this game too seriously?

Are you not entertained? My little brother just deleted my save file.
I had several rare pokemon on there, including a Dragonite I obtained from a Toys-R-Us event.

Awesomely random and randomly awesome. My anime list.Alkthash, do what I did for speedrunning. Swapmert/Blaziken, Alakazam, ownage. It'd b so easy(especially with the former starter).
@Magus: kinda funny since I once traded a Muk I took time to raise to high 70s for a palkia of the same level.
@pokerus/Shinies: I have a box for my Shinies too
, I take whenever I can, it's also kind of funny since I got pokerus a bgazillion times before i even found my first shiny.

I have very little motivation to catch everything in my Heart Gold cartridge. I plan to just import stuff to it and breed there (because of minmaxing trickery in breeding), and do my major training either in Platinum, where I have a complete set of Power Trainers, or in Diamond, where I have an exhaustive list of EV Training hotspots, VS Seeker lists, and a nearly-complete set of Power Trainers. I also plan to consolidate my ubers from my Diamond cart and transfer them all to Platinum, where all my power players will be kept.
I have waaaaay too many gen4 cartridges.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!HEY GUYS
Allow me to tell you about my GARest Pokemon playing session yet.
I was feeling restless and started playing, finally at the peak of Mt. Coronet, still a long way to go to Spear Pillar. After a few minutes of working my way around the mountain, I decided to go outside to get some proper atmosphere going!
So I went to the park, where there's a pretty nifty arena sort of place, where I sat down against a tree for my journey up the mountain. When I finally arrived at Spear Pillar, that just wasn't enough anymore. I wandered in search for a good new resting place, and on a playground, I found it. A jungle gym, two parallel poles attached to one another, high above the ground... I planted myself between them. The sun was already setting by then, and it couldn't have been more appropriate for the finale atop Spear Pillar, and the darkness became complete when I finally entered Distortion World... The abyss in front of me, and around me. Everything else is silent but the sensation of falling.
At the bottom of this tainted new world, I fought Cyrus. That goddamn hacker! A Honchkrow does not outspeed a Luxray, and a Weavile does not survive a Rapidash's Fire Blast AND Floatzel's Aqua Jet! But his foul means were no match for my love for my Pokemon, and my Pokemon's love for me! When he was down to only the wretched Crobat that caused me so much ire before, Koishi's love powers destroyed it in one hit, ending his plans forever.
It was down to me and the master of this world, Giratina.
Face to face with antimatter itself. The battle was long and hard. Lucia and Terry fought with all their strength. Sweat and tears were shed, until finally, Giratina knocked itself out with Struggle.
Luckily, Dialga smiled upon me this day, and time was reset. I descended from the scaffolding, to stand in the middle of the darkness. I was going to use the Master Ball, but not without a fight. Neither Giratina nor I shall have our power insulted by a cheap shot. I entered the battle yet again, determined to bring it down to low damage before throwing the contract that would seal our fates together. Yet, the very second move it made was an Ominous Wind that raised all its abilities to intimidating levels. It was a struggle for survival, and in the end, I had to give up. It was not meant to be. Or was it?
Give up... that term does not exist in my dictionary! The past was recalled, and another time, I faced Giratina, balls in hand, a growl in my voice.
Lucia did her work, and yet again, Giratina raised its abilities beyond godly levels. But nothing could stop us. With the combined effort of Lucia and Flotsam, the damage Giratina had taken gave me the command clear as day. Lucia's electricity would be enough to paralyze it and make it unable to resist. The second electrified tackle was enough to bring it down to minimal stamina, and paralyze it. And yet, with this round, it did the unthinkable.
It raised its abilities once more.
I scoffed.
Terry, you, who you hold the world on your back. You, whom I've trusted more than anyone on our travels. You, who believes in me who believes in you. Will you take even half your maximum damage from the ominous winds of the god of this otherworld, whose powers now exceed that of the gods themselves?
A fool who would think that possible!
Dusk ball... GO!
... *wiggle*... *wiggle* ... *ka-choonk*
You have done well, Terry.
Lucia.
Flotsam.
1000 Miles, Koishi, and everyone else.
We flippin' did it.
PS: I'm such a pimp I made a Chansey my HM slave. Hell yeah.
That's cash right there.
I always saw Cyrus' team as a mini Five Bad Band, though that's mostly because my team was a Five-Man Band.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.

That seems fair.
My Heracross has a Lax nature, which isn't terrible, I guess. I just Close Combat everything to death, so defense isn't the greatest of my emphases.
