Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

No, I find it a little odd, too.
But then, I find dating sites a little weird, too.

Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffRE: Hitting on over the internet: I usually interpret it as done facetiously. However, if it's done sincerely, that's not that farfetched either. Over the internet you don't have to deal with physical appearances and awkwardness, so someone can come off as more "likeable/dateable" than in real life.
Of course, the Real Life / internet persona split can go the other way too.
Luckily, I've only been hit on once here, and only kinda, which is exactly like Real Life. So clearly I'm doing something right. And something else really wrong, wangst wangst wangst.

No offense Vandro, but you didn't know how old I was? I've said it like 10 times. *

Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffOh, it's pretty much always facetious here, I don't mind that.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.The only time internet flirting seems to unnerve me is when it's happening to me. There are many reasons to this. If it is not then I don't mind it really. I don't really notice it either when it's not happening to me.
If someone wants to accuse us of eating coconut shells, then that's their business. We know what we're doing. - Achaan ChahWell, it's all in jest anyways, so it's not like there's anything really creepy about it. I've had creepier things said to me in real life than here.
You're looking for this person.Around here, it's mostly just amusing.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffTo expand on my reasons...
I don't know if they're being sincere. I fear hurting and upsetting people. We've talked about this. Also, I don't know how to kindly respond that I don't want to interact in such a way.
On real life and creepy things: I've been stalked by a man in a car. A drunk has tried to get me to a bar. A man wanted my company...Repeat this a few more times. I am truly jailbait.

I confess to finding hitting on people over the internet very, very strange and sorta creepy.
