Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

I'm obessed with finding a meaning for my meaningless tattoo. Which I really like btw.
~Scientia Est PotentiaNot an odd confession, just a regular confession.
My time in the army turned me into a foulmouth. There was one time I uttered the F word around 30 times a day...and it was a good, relaxed day.
Hell, I also used to use F word a lot posting here as well.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Re: Swearing. I swear all the time on the internet, in text. It feels good and even necessary.
But I never swear out loud or in online voice chat. I grew up in a household where only my parents would swear and only when they were very angry. So I have this instinct to keep these words from coming out of my mouth that I may never grow out of (turning 30 in 3 months)
The funny thing with swearing is that the moment you stop swearing you know things have just gotten serious
New theme music also a boxI don't swear at all (unless you count "crap" or "heck"), but I use unusual euphemisms quite a bit, especially when I'm talking to myself. For example, I use the brony term "plot" instead of the A-word (i.e. "a pain in the plot"), even outside of MLP-related contexts. And sometimes when I'm thinking out loud I use "bearsign" to mean... well, take a guess.
For me, I don't really swear that much overall on the internet, but I also don't go out of my way to avoid swearing or, except for as a joke, use alternatives. I do however find myself swearing slightly more in real life than on the internet... not in conversation (where it's about the same as on the internet), but in situations like getting hurt or getting frustrated at a game.
"Leftover items still have value!"I often have to idiot-proof things for my future self. Since I know I'm gonna try and chicken out, I have to make it impossible for me to do so. Does anyone else ever feel like that?

The internet has allowed me to know about things that I would never be able to know otherwise.
"I am going down a DOWNWARD SPIRAL!!"A weird one based on an old favorite show that recently had a (minor) revival:
I've always wished that Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law had done an episode referencing Hong Kong Phooey.
I'm in your fanfiction, correcting your spelling.I wish Walter Benjamin (Ben-YA-min) would read me a bedtime story about the Frankfurt school (and their cultural upheaval antics)
Ducklings make me really happy and I always associate them with feeling like a kid again.
When I first saw Miraculous Ladybug, I thought that Chat Noir was a supervillian and the show was like the few episodes I saw of Sabrina The Teenage Witch.
If there's a book you want to read, but it hasn't been written yet, then you must write it. Toni MorrisonI'm actually okay with the overhaul that DICE did for Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) now I decided to play it again when Geonosis was released.
FOR THE REPUBLIC.

Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I am really starting to get annoyed at the self aware "humor" that is often used in movies especially ones by Joss Whedon. It is okay in small doses but if everyone is doing it, I get annoyed.
"I am going down a DOWNWARD SPIRAL!!""Ducklings make me really happy and I always associate them with feeling like a kid again."
Ducklings are great! They are just so fluffy and adorable.
Until they grow older and their quacking become louder. And their poop larger and my god the duck poop.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. For just a moment, I thought that was a post intended for the "strangest thing you've said today" thread. I follow both that thread and this one so I was like "wait, which thread am I on again?"
You could've totally forgiven, because that's not something you get to say a lot.

FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeI find the "Screaming Cowboy" meme hilarious, because I didn't realise a lot of people on the net don't know who that is. That's Jimmy Barnes. Classic Aussie singer. He screams. Like super loud.
I didn't realise people didn't know.
The last thing you hear before an unstoppable juggernaut bisects you with a minigun.Sometimes when I see pictures of that girl from Hazbin Hotel, I mistake her for Heather Chandler from Heathers.
Sometimes I mistake/associate generic "gentleman" designs with Arsène Lupin.
"Don't cry because it's over, cry because it happened."High five, a Heathers fan!
Related odd confession: There's a bunch of fan made animations for Heathers songs, my favorite being the ones for Candy Store. I judge how good an animation is largely based on how amusing I find their take on Heather Chandler's "Shut up, Heather!" to Heather Duke.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimAnother Heathers-related confession- I use music to help me get in-character when I cosplay, and "Candy Store" is on the playlist I use for Killer Frost (as is "Someone Gets Hurt" from Mean Girls.)
Despite being an atheist, I find religion really interesting. Though I don’t believe in any of them, I love reading about all the gods that various cultures worshipped.
How unfortunate that you are attempting to deceive me.
