Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

If you ever have writer's block, you should write about that. Your first clue to your true identity would be a mysterious letter from the animation studio. You found it after eating a burrito so hot that it makes you blast off like a rocket...only you get stuck in the ceiling, with your head in the attic.
You find an envelope with the studio's logo on it, marked, "Re: The DrNoPuma Matter."
Oh my gosh.
When I wrote that last post, all I was thinking was "I can't believe I did that, I'm so stupid." But your post just made my day. That is a great idea!
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :D"Gypsy" is apparently a racial slur.
I think this is the wrong thread for that, mate.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I always thought Funtime Freddy was pretty funny, but to me, his original German voice is just plain cute.
I want this to become a separate, Non-Ironic Clown character.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DEven though I've only been gone for about two months, TV Tropes feels strangely nostalgic now. I'm just trying not to remember my various screw-ups.
I still don't know how to really use message boards, I'm just doing this because I don't have any other ideas.
I'm afraid that Mr. [REDACTED] will not be seeing us again for the rest of his lifeMan, Andy Samberg is just so cool. Just found his lonelyisland band videos and they cracked me up (they were apparently somewhat popular back in the day).
Just write text in the box, right? Are you talking about something else or you just don't know what to write?
Life is unfair...I sometimes wonder if I'm doing the self-shipping jokes with one of my fellow Tropers a bit too much.
Spelunking through a Halo Ring is something else...I rarely dislike a piece of media. Like I have no standards. I enjoy nearly everything I watch or read, even if it has overwhelmingly negative reviews. And then when I read about the flaws I'll think, "Wait, that part was supposed to be bad? I never noticed that."
Yeah, I'm pretty similar... I rarely seem to think something is BAD (not counting stuff that's bad in an enjoyable and amusing way), of course there are things I like way more than others but most things I don't personally like are at least "decent" or "ok". I can only think of a few pieces of media I actually DISLIKE, and one of the biggest dislikes here is mainly from wasting great potential of a concept I love x3

"Leftover items still have value!"Ha! I'm exactly the same! And I was worried that it was a bad thing, that I was just too optimistic. It's good to know I'm not alone. :)
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DI'm somewhat similar. I'll rarely think a piece of media/art/entertainment is terrible, but also rarely think it's amazing either. My opinions tend towards the center with a positive lean.
One time I completely forgot Bhutan was even a country. I didn't remember it existed until last month.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?On a similar note, I used to think Dominica and the Dominican Republic were the same country due to the similar names.
Also, I read the posts about tropers who rarely dislike some pieces of media. I'm kinda like that as well; there are only so many pieces of media I actually dislike, and pretty much everything else I'm neutral to at worst.

I used to pretty much never dislike media besides those that were egregiously bad. My leftward political shift over the last several years has ended up making me a lot more aware of bigoted shit in media, certain kinds of comedy that I used to enjoy have just become downright painful to endure (particularly anything relying on second-hand embarrassment), and I've become a lot more jaded and at times downright spiteful when things are overhyped. Especially when it's hyped on social media as oh-so-progressive and then it turns out there's rampant problematic shit in it that much of the fandom seems to sweep under the rug.
I'm basically the same way. The only things that would make me really dislike a piece of media is being offensive, or mean-spirited humor.
I absolutely cannot stand humor that's based on making fun of the Straw Loser who just happens to be a little different. You see that kind of shit in Kid Com shows a lot, and I just hate it. The main characters with their popular friends and designer clothes, who are supposed to be the "good guys," needlessly picking on some kid for looking different or having a "weird" hobby. Because it's funny!
Same. I hate the Loners Are Freaks trope too.
I haven't played the particular game that Tango is from, but still... robo kitty. :DHonestly, I would more likely feel bad for the kid being picked on in whatever kidcom than laugh at the joke. There's a good reason why I very rarely (if at all) watch kidcoms.

I'm perfectly okay with having my favorite characters getting bashed. I also have no qualms about bashing other people's favorite characters.
Note: This only applies to completely fictional characters.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Once when I was in primary school I scolded a teacher for rudeness and got away with it.
Long version: Teacher had taken me aside and was scolding me for slamming my hat on the ground. I was adamantly denying it, because I didn't do it. After about five minutes of neither party budging an inch, I got sick of it and snapped.
"I'm gonna talk and you're gonna listen, and you're not gonna talk till I'm done cos it's rude to interrupt."
Teacher opens his mouth, I shush him.
I explain that I didn't do anything wrong and that this is ridiculous.
Teacher stares, thinks...and then calmly apologises for not listening to me and trying to get me in trouble over nothing.
We then head back to the others and I wonder how the hell I got away with that.
