Alright, confess odd things.
Excessive complaining isn't allowed anywhere on the site. Keep it out of this thread.
For example, I'm jealous to my big brother becuase he discovered The Smiths first. Dammit, now I can't have a crush for Morrisey without feeling weird about it.

I blame Poe's Law.
I really do.

Justice is a joy to the godly, but it terrifies evildoers.Proverbs21:15 FimFiction account.Do I think that downloading is bad? To an extent, yes.
Do I still do it anyway? Yes.
Am I going to attempt to justify it by saying "but I go to showz and buy merch?>Q??!" No.
Does this make me a bad person? Probably.
Am I going to stop downloading music because of it? Probably not.
I will say one thing; if I ever release my own music, I'll give it away for free. I don't plan to make any money from it. The industry right now just isn't viable unless you market your music, and fuck that. Even if the industry changes and I can make money from it... I'll still give it away for free. I just feel I should.
And I'll say another thing. Fuck iTunes. Absolutely fuck iTunes up the ass with a rusty shovel. If I could wipe one thing off the face of the Earth, iTunes would be one of the first things I would consider.
Fuck. iTunes.
Oh, fuck every single one of you.
READ THIS COMIC. | Read along as I play through my games collection!Poe's Law makes me think of a drama about Edgar Allen Poe as an attorney.
You're an ad hominem attack!...I love you, too?

YES. Just... all of it. Yes.
@Sunshine: Pretty nice speech, except that if we allow that to music, then lets just allow it to books, and games, and movies, and stuff, and other stuff. Seriously, while some people do do music out of love for it, they can't really keep doing it unless they get paid for it =P Its not exactly easy to live for music and do other job at side to get money.
Which is fine, except for the fact that when you buy an album or song, most of the time very little of the money actually goes to the musician.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Exactly. The payday coming from A) the concert organizers B) the concert-goers beats the ever-living shit of the money that comes from the discs sold, especially because we still use physical distribution, which means that the studio has to pay for the creation of the physical copies and the...um...I dunno if "sending" is the right word, but fuck, that's what am I gonna use.
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. For me, the reward would just be having people enjoy my music rather than any monetary gains. Of course, I don't ever intend to try to make a living off of music.
I buy a lot of used stuff from Amazon.com 'cause it's cheap, but some good ways to support the artists are to buy directly from them, or the label they're signed to. Bandcamp also has a very high ratio of "money that goes right to the artist" I think. And buying shit from Bandcamp's hella cheap a lot of the time.

I don't see how's that an insult...
