rollin' on dubs
In California there are AH-1 and CH-53 in firefighter colors. Some are State CALFIRE birds, others are contractors. We saw and A-10 going to the ranges today. Given that Fort Bliss is larger than the Rode Island I'm not surprised.
I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....Seen a dark-coloured AS365N3 around recently.
THEM from 'ereford.

Keep Rolling On
rollin' on dubs
Many aircraft are described as "10,000 parts flying in close formation"....
In other news BAE makes a play for upgrades
, F-15 and F-18 around the world.

I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....Just came back from the airshow, took more pictures of the weapon exhibit than the planes. (Static display, the flying display doesn't really capture on camera phone well)
Let's see, the air force's F-16 are still loud as ever.
First time hearing a (Jupiter Aerobatic Team) propeller plane, it was pretty neat.
Watched the hornet fly past really really slowly, who knew it could do that.
And the osprey, not as much of a display as showing us how it can hover and then face the propeller forward.
Here's
the imgur account I just made, crappy edits and all.
Edit: removed bad links

I remember, as a kid, being well disappointed when the B1 Lancer and the B-52 had to cancel at the Leuchars Air Show. Something about Afghanistan...

Schild und Schwert der Parteibatter: Stand corrected. Was it a regular F-18 Hornet or F-18 Super Hornet? Handy Comparison Graphic

Also all of your links have : at the end bringing up generic no article page for the Other Wiki.
Part of it's design is to be able to fly slowly given that it is meant to act as CAS and general aircover for Marine Ground Forces.

Who watches the watchmen?I believe I have developed a thorough fondness for the Mosquito Aircraft its crazy pilots. RAAF home page has a news article saying Super Hornet to be displayed at the Airshow. Guess that answers the question.
Nothing like using a light weight craft on a Thunder Run to interrupt Goebbels and Gering flapping their jaws. A shut the fuck up you Nazi bastards moment.
Lol. I love it. The First batch of 303 MG's on the Skeeter before modification were so intense when fired together that the flash blinded the pilots. :D
I believe I will use some of my vacation time this year to go to the Offut Open House Airshow. They skipped it last year but are bringing it back this year. The Blue Angels will be making a showing and there will be lots of military kit on Parade.
I hope they have a Gunship on display again this year.

Who watches the watchmen?Ethiopian Airlines flight to Rome hijacked by co-pilot, lands in Geneva as he tries to claim asylum.
I almost feel admiration for the guy - a nice piece of classic, old fashioned air piracy. None of this uncivilized flying into things

When I was in PATRIOT missile AIT, someone (being a Jerkass or an idiot) asked if we'd ever fire on a "True Friend": those who's IFF signal said they were, for reals, on our side.
Our instructor took a deep breath and she said, if the plane was hijacked and flying into a populated area yes.
And she added that she'd need a siff drink afterwards.

Pop onto the Airliners.net website and you can see how many shots there are showing Typhoons and Tornados involved in flight testing, so it’s remarkable that no-one witnessed the event. No small amount of luck probably, but the company did up its chances by conducting the work on a Friday afternoon, and along a short stretch of tarmac which runs across the main strip. If any local spotters did see it and didn’t twig what it was, they should be kicking themselves!
Being Civil:
- No rush on A380 re-engine: Airbus
- Airbus to make A330neo decision this year

- Cessna sees its future with a large-cabin Citation

On a more serious note, it turns out that the EC-135 Eurocopter that crashed into the Clutha Vaults pub suffered a double engine failure due to a fuel feed failure, according to the AIB.
They ruled out a bird strike or a rotor failure.
