About the church door, Kage could probably kick it in without much effort. This is very visibly the kind of backwater where everything's made out of dry wood and a stiff breeze could threaten the structural integrity of the whole town.

Yeah, I believe there's a fairly thick wall stretched horizontally in front of the church a few feet from its entrance, to deter exactly the kind of bullet barrage that Jan's ghouls are planning.

Someone around Geno's strength level should be able to open the door as it's less covered to allow those inside to escape if needed.
