I'm thinking about a Yu Gi Oh RP, but it needs more plot than what I have.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Trouble is, I'm not that good of a G Mer. I'd need a cohort to help make sure it runs smoothly. Plus, I'd have to try and contain the urge to fill it with too many of my own ideas.
And a Strange Figure Emerges. In my case:
- Megaman Zero RP. It follows the tales of plucky Resistance fighters... and the Neo Arcadian enforcers sent to crush them. Not sure how to justify them never having appeared in canon. It's easy enough for the NA chars - just say that since it's so vast and the PCs are relatively low ranking, Zero never had a need to fight them. The Resistance members on the other hand...
- Megaman ZX RP: Not sure how to make this one work, or what the plot would even be.
- Arm A RP: In the near future, conflict erupts once again in the tiny nation of Chernarus as the previously fragmented ChDKZ finally reform and gain widespread support among the populace due to discontent with the current ruler. Several factions are involved: the USMC, the British military, the Chernarussian Defence Force, the Russians, the ChDKZ, NATO, and finally the Private Military Contractor ION. Players can choose from any of these factions, and if any of them feel up to it someone can act as a general of sorts.
- Deus Ex RP: This would involve a group of people (augmented or otherwise) going around the world as they slowly unravel a patchwork of mysteries that reveal the truth about strange goings on. It would take place either before, during, or after Human Revolution.
- Jedi Academy RP: Exactly what it says on the tin. A closeknit gang of trainee Jedi get sent on missions spanning the galaxy either alone or with company, while under the watchful eye of their mentors. There might also be a counterpart group in the opposing faction.
So... yeah.
Locking you up on radar since '09I'd base its' "architecture" so to speak on Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy - that is, the players would be sent off on several "sub-missions", and once those are complete the next plotline mission opens up. At certain points they would be allowed to gain new Force powers and skills, and eventually they'd even be able to choose whether they wanted to use a single lightsaber, a pair, or a double-bladed lightsaber.
Of course, I'd probably end up running out of ideas and steam a few weeks in, not to mention the fact that I don't even know what the proper plot would be. Perhaps it could take place during the events of the aforementioned game?
Locking you up on radar since '09You can have the plot happen in the Clone Wars' time. That way you'd have easy missions to bring up if you run out of ideas.
On empty crossroads, seek the eclipse -- for when Sol and Lua align, the lost shall find their way home.Yeah, true. That's certainly an option if I can't get my initial approach to work*.
If I went with the Clone Wars, the antagonist PCs could be either rogue Jedi or Sith acolytes that just so happen to be in favour with some of the higher ups. As for the other one, they'd probably be members of the Cult of Ragnos (or perhaps Reborn that had managed to avoid being captured or killed during the events of Jedi Outcast) who're learning to access the ruinous energies of the Dark Side.

Locking you up on radar since '09-Headbutts Liz-
Go away. Flanker's idea is better.
Though, TBH, I really think this is a good idea, Flanker.
I have some ideas for RPGs myself.
- JTTM 2: W-B-X - A sequel to Journey Through The Multiverse. Hopefully less confusing and more lighthearted (funny since the big bad planned for this is a Blood Knight)
- Anything Goes - Pretty much a sandbox (hopefully Slice of Life) where you play as a Greeed during the Great Depression.
Ah, thanks!
I know that the first few missions would focus on relatively "minor" jobs (like freeing hostages, stopping smugglers, etc.) and then things would tie in with the plot of the game (investigating areas the Disciples of Ragnos might have been, that sort of thing). I'm kind of stumped for actual locations and ways to add flavour, though.
Locking you up on radar since '09@Comic scans: DAMN.......Batman once again proves that he's freakin' hard core. XD
@R Ps: I have two in mind:
- The Massive Multi Fandom RPG: Season 4: Sorta of a Broad Strokes type of affair that while has canon with the previous three seasons its obvious its an entirely different continuity. Similar to separately number Final Fantasy games and/or the Gundam metaseries.
- Mega Ten: Where a group of character with Super Weight levels from -1 to low 2 plopped into a separate world filled with monsters from the Meag Ten series. Again Broad Strokes.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HITTING HELPY!!

The only thing I've got on my list is a Marvel/DC RP, through the lenses of an Ultimate Universe.
And a Strange Figure Emerges.
