Okay, I've been re-reading the manga and I noticed something. While time progresses more or less normally for Tsuda first year things get... peculiar once he entered the second year. Like, I can swear that there was like three separate summer vacations and at least two new years. The season also seem to keep changing, yet Tsuda is still in his second year. And I'm not even halfway through the translated chapters.
What is even going on?
Azumanga Daioh actually did progress more or less in chronological order, IIRC.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. It's hard to write the story forward after Shino and Aria graduated; somebody needs to give the dirty jokes.
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaMost of the school population have a dirty mind, so that shouldn't be too hard.
Check out my fanfiction!Shino would probably say that some things *ahem* are hard because most of the school population have dirty minds.
But in all seriousness, I think we're too attached to the main cast to progress beyond graduation, which is why I liked it when Azumanga Daioh actually had a definite ending instead of running the jokes into the ground.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.OVA 4. In which balls are hit.
Yeah, nice translation. It's almost Google quality.
That's a cluttered desktop. I currently have nine icons, though I've recently reformatted the entire drive, so I don't have a lot of crap on it.
I wonder how many superstitions they have about heat related things. They seem to crop up all the time.
Most foodstuffs are edible well past the expiration date, especially if it's still packaged.
They're married. And there's a reason you're not.
The interesting part about those "What's this?" segments is that you flip a coin to see whether it's exactly what it looks like or something else.
Isn't that drawing her a little bit too short?
Ouch.
Oumi is fun. But is it really that notable that a girl talks to him? Especially one who's been seen around there plenty.
Nice pic.

Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaOVA 5 is out.
Much better translation this time, which is doubly important for series such as this, which relies heavily on puns and wordplay.
We get an stake out for Kappa, which goes about as well as you'd think it would. Also, Tsuda manages to deduct Kappa identity pretty quickly.
Council president exchange day! Meet the new boss, same as old boss. Meanwhile Shino manages to weird out Uomi's assistant Mori, which is quite impressive, given she has to deal with Uomi on a daily basis.
Shino is very territorial when it comes to Tsuda.
OVA 5. In which a change doesn't change anything.
Her first option wasn't bad. Or just as-is.
She's telling the MC surrounded by girls that he won't be popular with girls if he acts like he usually does? I think she might be denser than he is.
Why does she even feel the need to explain away her common searches? Is she really expecting him to expect anything else at this point?
Kappa.
If a character says she's not scared of somehing, there's a 90% chance she is.
I wonder if she'a actually capable of making something sound not obscene if there's a possibility it will sound obscene. She's taking Finagle's Law quite literally.
And he was completely right.
Yeah, having a tsukkomi is the most important part. They were so lost when they lost their's for an episode.
Landmine. Step.
Check out my fanfiction! Is it just me or is the animation really bad for this one?
Translation made some effort to make suitable replacements for the puns and wordplay. Kinda worked sometimes? But it definitely needed more editing and they didn't edit the actual images as appropriate, like with the single entry love hotel joke.
NTR joke was the first one that really amused me.
This has never really been a high-quality animation series.
And yeah, not quite as funny as many other episodes,
Check out my fanfiction! The first season had some rather stunning Animation Bump with the Cherry Blossoms but yeah its pretty low budget.

Anyway...
Hey, Prez follows a consistent logic. It's a logic all of her own but it's there.
