Desert Punk is about the only I don't like, since it doesn't focus on ludicrously complicated machinery as much as the others.
I'm more a fan of Scenery Gorn-filled After the End scnerario's for my post-apoplyptic stories.

To be honest, I think that I don't like Cyberpunk. The aesthetic, yeah, but Neuromancer was eh.

Speaking if Punk Punk, is it possible for there to ones based on themes instead of time periods? We need stuff like Mamga Punk, Racing Punk, Gear Punk (Though that might be Clock Punk), Water Punk, Ice Punk....

Dammit these genre's are awesome. I've never actually read something that could be one of them, but I notice that I use elements of them alot in my fiction.
My favorite's Clock Punk. Man, all those intricate gears all winding together...I notice a lot of my stories have at least on place where there's nothing but endlessely compicated gears and machinery all grinding and clanking together. Dammit, the "X Punk" genre's are awesome.
