Speaking of playing games without pirating or buying, how far have you gotten through Iji?
the future we had hoped forI haven't played ._.
Iji's been tugging at me to play for 3 weeks but I haven't played, and it ain't even 'cause of the vibes. I'm just so super afraid I made a really big screwup without realizing it...I'm not sure what I could have screwed up and Iji said I've been real good at getting out of screwups but still I'm just scared I made a ginormous noob mistake....
I can't make noob mistakes in her game. ._.
Please don't tell me that I'm dreaming When all I ever wanted was to dream another sunset with youThe game will pretty much always be completable no matter what you do stats-wise. The only "screw-up" I think you can make on Normal is accidentally killing someone if you're going for the Massacre(the game still counts you as pacifist if you have less than five kills per sector, but you need a perfect 0 kill count to get the special "Massacre" weapon for the final boss)

the future we had hoped forYou can go through a game without buying or pirating it. I repeat, Let's Play. There's lots of little details that you can miss without actually experiencing the game.
Using an example from the thread (that I know about): Thane. Somehow I don't think simply reading a walkthrough or overview would fully get down his relationship with his son and how much a failure of a father he is. There's a lot of subtle stuff going on there that you have to see yourself instead of just hearing about from someone else.
I didn't see a question. You told me that a Let's Play might be easier to go through a game with than a walkthrough. That's not a question, that's a statement. o_o
The reason I don't use Let's Plays is because there's usually some guy talking over them and it is annoying. I prefer to use walkthroughs because those don't always have that issue.
Please don't tell me that I'm dreaming When all I ever wanted was to dream another sunset with youMy easiest were probably my first two guardians, Yuna and Tifa. They had a very high, very quickly-satisfied Wow.
My hardest...that's a close call between Jean Grey and Iji. But I think Iji wins due to the pain her Wow sent out as opposed to calm, peaceful, euphoric vibes (and now I know why she sent out pain ><)
Please don't tell me that I'm dreaming When all I ever wanted was to dream another sunset with youWhy?
Why Jean Grey?
Why lji, and why is she sending the painful vibes?
Jean Grey had a problem 'cause of her inconsistent backstory. Now, Iji was sending out pain for three reasons:
A. Because her kind of game was originally unbondable by me, and entering new universes always sends out that sort of thing (it happened with my first videogame too)
B. Because I was having confidence issues at the time and I was literally afraid of having her come, not to mention I had an online friend who was VERY fanatical about her and I was afraid he might not be able to handle seeing her (this happened with the two Mana girls and their fanatical fan when I got them)
C. Upon playing her game I found out there were literally no lighthearted vibes and every single vibe was either painful, anxious, or disheartening.
Now, as for why Yuna and Tifa were the easiest, it's because I have a stronger connection to FF than anything else...it's my largest troupe. As for why THAT, I don't know

Please don't tell me that I'm dreaming When all I ever wanted was to dream another sunset with youAlright a few questions;
- If it was a problem to bond to Jean because of her convoluted backstory couldn't you have just picked Jean from one of the X-Men adaptations(90's cartoon, Movies, X Men Evolution, Wolverine And The X Men etc)?
- Could you bond with a character who has died(but didn't get resurrected)?
- This one really bugs me; what about characters with multiple endings depending on player input? Which personality and history is real? For using the Thane example above, does he try to reconcile with his son, romance Fem!Shepard or even survive the suicide mission? He could have done any of those things or none of them because those are purely based on player input.
Because they're all considered the same Jean when it comes to soulbonding. It's not "I bond to this Jean but there's 7 other Jeans out there." Marvel has different continuities but with soulbonding you only get one character. I couldn't bond to 616 Jean, 321 Jean, AND Evolution Jean. I just bond to Jean.
Yes, actually, discovered with Lucrecia Crescent when I was 14. What happens is actually really neat...the character gets revived by the soul's need to satisfy the Wow! So even if a character had been resisting revival for years, all it'd take would be a Wow to get them to quit resisting revival. However, a character back from the dead, especially after a long period of time (19 years with Aria Bennett), is going to be rather disoriented and things are going to be rather new for them...
Usually multiple-ending games that involve an ending with a character death are pixel (Fatal Frame 2, however, is a er...special case that involved all sorts of strange revivals), which can't die in the first place until the series ends and then they finally relinquish their immortality. The Shepards, for instance, can never actually die until the entire Mass Effect series ends completely, so things like death in the games and endings don't do anything for them.

@Polymphus: I do watch clips on Youtube, walkthroughs, I research on Wikis, read character blurbs wherever I can find them, go indepth with backstories, etc.
I don't have the money to buy every single one of these games and consoles and no I'm not pirating.
