Alright. I'll drop another swamp, then play Swarm of Rats
(currently a 2/1). Then I'll cast Cry of Contrition
with my remaining mana; discard a card, and I'll have it haunt your Arsonist.
Go.
- Life: 10
- Hand: 5
- Land: 3 (tapped)
- Creatures: Nezumi Bone-Reader, Swarm of Rats
- Artifacts: Spellbook, Howling Mine
- Graveyard: Gnat Miser, Cry of Contrition (Goblin Arsonist)
OK, I'll discard a Mountain.
UUD, another token. I tap three mountains for another Assault, then a fourth for another arsonist. Then, rules being rules, I attack with 5 tokens, the Goblin King, the haunted arsonist and the siege-gang commander, leaving only the other Arsonist for blocking. I suspect you'll be blocking the king with the rat swarm, thereby removing the +1/+1?
I discard another mountain, you take 1 damage from the Arsonist's on-death effect. Go.
(And yes, yes it would. Black/Red?)
Life: 20
Lands: 5 mountains (4t)
Creatures: Siege-Gang Commander (2/2, t), Goblin Arsonist, 5 goblin tokens (t)
Enchantments: 2x Goblin Assault
Graveyard: 2x Mountain, Arsonist, Goblin King
Hand: Akki Coalflinger, Chandra, Goblin Assault
Alrighty. (You've been remembering to draw 2 on your draw step, right? Howling Mine and all.)
I'm totally gonna die next turn, since I'm at 4, but I'm gonna go out with a feeble attempt at glory. Two for Ravenous Rats
, and one for another Cry of Contrition, which'll haunt the Arsonist. Again. Discard two, and it's your turn. Wish I had gotten a Megrim out.
- Life: 4
- Hand: 4
- Land: 3 (tapped)

- Graveyard: Gnat Miser, Cry of Contrition, Nezumi Bone-Reader, Swarm of Rats, Cry of Contrition (Arsonist)
Yeah, I've been drawing 2 the whole time; come to think of it, I should have been providing a count. To provide a blaze (literally) of glory, I summon Voracious Dragon
(I discarded Chandra and another Assault, it was one of my draws this turn) and it eats all nine of my goblins (including tokens) to roast you for 18 points of damage.
You played well, and who knows how it might have gone if you'd been luckier with your lands?

I'll go.
Drop a mountain and Quest for the Goblin Lord
. Go.
Life: 20
Lands: Mountain (t)
Enchantments: Quest for the Goblin Lord
Hand: Goblin King, Tuktuk the Explorer, Goblin Ruinblaster, Lightning Bolt, Siege-Gang Commander
Planescape Hijack
Heh. :p
UUD, swamp, Gerard's Verdict
. Discard two. Go ahead.
Life: 20 (+3 if you discard a land, +6 if you discard two)
Hand: 5
Lands: Plains (t), Swamp (t)
Creatures:
Grave: Gerard's Verdict, Nomads
Oh dear.
I chuck a Goblin Ruinblaster
and Goblin King
. Then UUD, drop another mountain and summon another Goblin King. Go.
Life: 20
Lands: 3 mountains (3t)
Creatures: Goblin King (2/2)
Enchantments: Quest for the Goblin King (1 counter)
Graveyard: Gobbo King, Gobbo Ruinblaster, Lightning Bolt
Hand: Tuktuk
Planescape Hijack
Man that card is great. Though the fact that there's still another Gobby King doesn't bode well...
UUD, plains, Outrider en-Kor
. Go ahead.
Life: 20
Hand: 4
Lands: Plains x2 (2t), Swamp (t)
Creatures: Outrider en-Kor (2/2, flanking, kor)
Grave: Gerard's Verdict, Nomads
UUD, drop another mountain and summon Tuktuk the Explorer
, who - since he has haste - goes gallivanting off to attack you at 2/2. Block or no?

I'll let them all through.
