-meanwhile at Moriya Shrine Suwako-sama and Kanako are going over the pictures I brought in alongside Sanae-
Suwako: I've seen this kind of aura before, but it's been many many years. But I banished this magic when I subjugated the curse Gods. It shouldn't have survived. Could someone have rediscovered the magic of domination? And if someone did, why Aya of all people?
Kanako: Why indeed. This may be becoming a major threat to all of Gensokyo if this is what Suwako-sama says it is. If the magic of domination has been rediscovered, who knows how it can be applied to other more powerful beings like...
Suwako: Like the child at the Scarlet Mansion or the master of Mayohiga.
You mean Flandre and Yukari? If this magic is used on them what could happen?
Suwako: Untold destruction would follow. Possibly even the end of Gensokyo itself. Domination magic cares not for what the soul wills. It controls everything but the spirit's consciousness. The victim is alive and conscious, seeing everything they do while under the effect, watching the horrors and atrocities that are often committed by such magics. Yet at the same time they have no control, no release from the spell.
Sanae: Then we must stop whoever is behind this! Everything in Gensokyo could be at risk!
Aw, I wanted to challenge you to a light sparring match, but I guess that'd be too much trouble on top of a bunch of fairies making a mess of the mansion.
Eh, guess it can't be helped. I don't really have anything better to do, so how about I help you with those little troublemakers for now?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...*Looks at Sakuya.*
The Scarlet Sisters went to the Hakurei Shrine for some reason. It has to do something with Sake, from what I heard.
Last Defense Line.*manipulating a magic circle* If I use a low power bolt, and raise the dispersion factor, I should be able to stun them while preventing collateral damage. *fires a shot on the floor, which disappears in a puff of yellow on impact*
Now to see if it works on the fairies. *wanders down the messiest-looking corridor*
Hey, weren't you still carrying Remilia?
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...*spots a pair of fairies around an expensive-looking vase* Target acquired. *starts shooting*
Random Fairy 1: *goes wide-eyed, gets hit, faints*
Random Fairy 2: Eep! *flees, knocking over the vase*
*dives comedically to catch the vase* Hey, get back here! *runs down the corridor in pursuit*

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...-fourteen faeries start shooting danmaku-
Aw, crud. Epic grazing, go!
-effortlessly dodges the danmaku and knifes all the faeries-
Perfect!
-notices that a painting, two side-tables and 3 meters of carpet are covered in knives-
-facepalms-
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedWhat are those fairies doing anyway!?
Anyways, I better keep dodging! *Keeps dodging the bullets fired from the Fairies.*
Last Defense Line.*a couple dozen fairies later, rounding a corner into a different passageway* Weird. I didn't think it could get this windy inside.
Hey, who's that over there? They seem familiar somehow. *follows stalkily*

This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...-finishes taking up all the knives-
Okay, she won't notice the carpet and the painting. The side tables might be a problem though. Didn't expect the knives to go right through the wood.
-hears a strong wind somewhere in the mansion-
Well, Att must be getting busy...wait, Att's still over there, and the sound came from over...there.
-goes down a corridor towards the sound-
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too crampedSanae: So where should we look first in order to find who did this?
Kanako: It would be more prudent to check on Mayohiga. Even if Yukari is unaffected by the magic of domination she still is likely able to help us. Sanae you will go there to find out.
— Kanako turns towards me —
Kanako: And you will go with her. You are the first to find this effect beyond the perpetrators, perhaps you may be of further help in resolving this potential incident. I take it you can fly?
Me? Of course, I climbed Youkai mountain by foot because it seemed like a fun idea at first. I'm not doing that again. The tengu brought me up to speed while I was at their village before coming here. I learned flying, danmaku and how to do spirit photography a little bit more correctly.
Kanako: Then go you two. Get to Mayohiga and find Yakumo-san. From there, find where we need to go next and get there. If you find out who is behind this, waste no time in stopping them.
Sanae: Yes Lady Kanako.
Yes ma'am. Besides I might get a good opportunity for a photo or two.
Kanako: For a human you sure do think a lot like a certain tengu.
Well I am relatively new here and half the folks I've come across initially are likely either pissed at me or in some kind of unconscious state. Everybody else after has helped in one way or another. Besides I find spirit photography somewhat fun and I might as well get along with somebody in Gensokyo rather than make enemies with everyone. Therefore laters!
— Sanae and I fly off in the direction of Mayohiga —
Suwako: Something concerns me about that human.
Kanako: He seems like a nice enough guy...
Suwako: It's not that. Something makes me wonder whether he's truly prepared for what we may be up against. I fear we may have sent him to a worse fate than we think. I know we can trust Sanae to look after our new friend, but what if something goes wrong?
And now Major Tom is the real hero. We're just the B-Team. Hey, works for me.
-thinks-
How did the mansion get like this? It's weird just imagining something getting past Sakuya, nevermind all this! Perhaps Koakuma, or Patchy had something to do with this?
-slows down and starts straightening the paintings on the wall-
Eh, I might as well have Sakuya's goodwill when I fight Patchy.
you'll then have a grave in the clouds where you won't lie too cramped

Is Remilia still asleep? We might have to take her up to her bedroom or something.
