Weird dreams

I had a weird 2-parter dream this night.

Part 1: A friend of mine tells me he found a new place to play card games. He brings me to the place, that is an underground secret store hidden behind a fake wall in a dark alley. I get a weird initiation rite where all the players in the store basically stand up still and I have to traverse the place as if it was a Pokémon gym, being forced to play a game of the Pokémon TCG with each "trainer" I cross the gaze of.

Part 2: Some time has passed. I apparently passed the test and I'm going to the place to play in a Cardfight Vanguard tournament with a fresh new Angel Feather deck. I arrive, sit down and... my deck is missing. I search it and eventually I found it outside of the place, in the alley. I come back in to play, only to discover that somehow the card sleeves are mismatched: all trigger units are in black sleeves and so basically it's like I'm cheating. I have to buy new sleeves, except they're out of stock of the small-sized ones and I'm risking to be kicked out. Don't know how it ends up, but I remember that my supposed opponent was a girl wearing a flashlight on her head, kinda like Stacks from Craig of the Creek.

Number one fan of characters that appear only once and ultimately were a recurring character either in disguise or trying a new image.

I dreamed that I was elsewhere with my family in a party in a rented house. It was late night, but people were enjoying the moment so much that the current time didn't matter. I went to the backyard and I saw several small pools instead of a single big one. I was debating in my mind whether to take a shower in one of them or not... and while I was deliberating, lots of people (including couples) were arriving one by one and started entering to the pools. Some of them were chattng, others were using waterproof tablets to watch soccer matches,... and others started making love. And none of them minded me watching them (I mean, the groups and couples, by themselves, were close to each other already, so...), but I was bothered for not having claimed a single pool for me, so I ended up going back to the front part of the house.

During the second half of the dream, I found myself in my house. I was still in bad mood for what happened (or, rather, what didn't happen), and my father was asking me to buy some bread in a familiar house that was 800 meters north of my house. It seemes like an ordinary chore, and I accepted to do it in order to cleanse my mind and alleviate my frustrations... except it was still late night, and it turns out we were continuing the party in my house. Strangely, all shops and other public places were still open, so I quickly looked for the bread, bought it, and went back to the house. However, by the time I was in front, all the surroundings were in silence. I was calling my dad so he could open the front door, but nobody listened. Some suspicious guys were walking onto my position, and I began to run away. I woke up shortly afterwards.

I admit I have been in a bad mood even today in real life. Feeling miserable is awful.

I dreamed that Sonic.exe was real and he was out to get people, but no one gave a shit and laughed at him. One time he tweeted something and got ratioed by Tom. He was also very excited to play the FNF mod.

He can, however, feel sad, like when his wife left him.

Speaking of Sonic, last night I had a dream that I was an employee at SEGA, and I was working on Sonic Frontiers.

I think I was an artist of some sort, but I also really wanted to do the voice of Sonic. I auditioned for it, but nothing ever came of it for the rest of the dream, so I guess they didn't like my audition.

Also, I have seen the future: Sonic Frontiers will have a skateboard mode. In the dream, you could have Sonic ride a skateboard and do tricks all over the game's world. This inspired my dream self to learn skateboarding. I don't know if the real me wants to do that, but now I really want Sonic to do it in this game.

I have been researching Sonic.exe (don't ask) so a lot of my dreams involve him, so a few nights ago I dreamed that he was actually a dead girl named Cecelia who stole the souls of people she liked so she didn't have to be lonely, and usually killed them due to them putting up a fight. So I started the standard creepypasta stuff (evil store and stuff) and played Sonic 1 with my girlfriend Visi in this dream. I don't know anyone named Visi. Apparently she was usually an Emotionless Girl but when near the game, she acted much more violently and I recall actually being in pain after she forcefully tried to take it. Eventually I won though and the game started like usual, but instead of the normal whatever about Tails dying there was an animation of a girl jumping off of a rooftop. Stuff happened like usual but with different endings; Knuckles' ended with a different girl being impaled by a silhouette of Sonic, and Robotnik's ended with a boy being cut in half (not even being Made of Bologna at that) protecting the Knuckles girl. Apparently there was a secret Sonic level I had never heard of and I unlocked it. It had a surprisingly chill vibe, with pretty calming music. ...And then the end let me see the beautiful sight of the cutscenes from earlier being lightened up and given a glitch-like effect where the characters would temporarily turn into whoever they were possessing occasionally. And even better was when I got to see the relationship they had with Cecelia and their names: Tails was Ashlee, Cecelia's best friend, apparently possessing him due to Tails being able to fly, which would have saved her (after all, Even Evil Has Loved Ones), Knuckles was Saki, Cecelia's adoptive sister, due to them quarreling but still being friends anyway, and Robotnik was Mike, Cecelia's bully, for reasons that are obvious.

And then came the Wham Shot: Visi being shown. The Visi that was my girlfriend in this dream, one of Cecelia's good friends, that was apparently responsible for Mike's death. And then I woke up due to the confusion of it all.

This was the dream that inspired this.

While sleeping in on Sunday, I woke up screaming, at the top of my lungs, a misquoted and grammatically incorrect version of Sheldon Cooper’s last sentence when he mimics the arguing of his parents in “The Guitarist Amplification”. For some reason, I had been hearing his dialogue in my dream, and my dream self thought that the last sentence would be so loud and scary-sounding, so I mimicked it, albeit much louder than it is in real life, as I woke up! However, I don’t remember exactly how I worded it; I just know that I got it wrong.

While sleeping in this morning, I once again dreamed that I had been missing school and needed to go back. Someone was driving my mom and I to school, but we were taking a longer route, possibly to taxi some other people. At one point, my mom mentioned that my dad’s kids would be somewhere. Of course, I then asked about these kids that I never knew existed, while also insulting myself due to apparently sounding like a fool. Apparently, we were living in some kind of Veggietales universe, because she told me that before she married him, my dad had once had a baby with a female cucumber who might have gotten violent with him and later might have committed suicide or something.

I dreamed that every single page on TV Tropes was red-linked as part of an April Fools Day joke… on 21 November. (That's kinda a bit late for a joke to begin with…)

The latest Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC was karts that were too small for the characters. Not surprising as I was watching ROM hacks before bed that night.

My family and I were, yet again for the Nth time, in the midst of a travel, but we were stopping in an interstate hotel in a gas station to rest during that day's night. What little I saw form the small hotel's inside (it was only three floors tall) was actually pretty amazing. It had a nice restaurant, televisions broadcasting soccer matches (including the UCL Final!), and there were many pretty girls who loved video games and anime. I was told by my family that, later that night, I was invited to play Smash and Mario Kart with the girls (and apparently, the next Booster Course wave was available already!), so I was excited.

While I was waiting for dinner, I decided to make a small stroll. I noticed that there many silver-colored gasoline trucks for sale, so my walks were in a zigzag pattern across the roads between the trucks' rows. And then a scoundrel I met many years ago in high school (21 years, to be precise) decided to throw paper balls at me; even when I was one truck behind him, the balls he threw upward fell down close to me. I was appalled that, even as a grown adult, he'd perform childish bullying tactics but since to was an adult as well I knew how to give fucks like him a lesson. I grabbed a steel bar and started chasing him, while he was desperately trying to say cheap apologies to me. He outran me... and then an angry dog began bitting him when he approached its territory. I felt things were getting out of hand, so I let the dog punish him for me and tried to return to the hotel.

This being a dream, of course, it turns out I started getting lost among the seemingly-infinite rows of gas trucks, and my destination was nowhere to be seen. And when I looked at the sky, I noticed there were several moons, including one in the horizon.

I woke up shortly afterwards.

I dreamed that I was dueling against an evil doppelganger of mine. She somehow got out five Egyptian God Cards (two of which are non-existent in the anime/card game — a green one and a purple one, that's all I recall from them) as well as two copies of "Rain Bozu" in the Pendulum Zones (and 15 cards in her Extra Deck); all I had on my side of the wield was… Kuriboh. I had 1 Life Point left (I don't know how) while she had over a million Life Points. And I had nothing in my Extra Deck.
It was my turn, I drew a card that let me draw 13 cards (if any of them were Spells or Traps, though, I'd lose the duel). I drew two copies of all five pieces of Exodia, along with Relinquished, some monster whose effect would let me Special Summon a Synchro Monster from my opponent's Extra Deck, and Gemini Elf.
WTF.

I dreamed about having to get rid of photos where I looked really stupid from when I was three years old. Apparently by getting owners of five websites and a video game developer to delete them, they'd be gone for good... Yeah, like that's how it works.

I had a dream that it was Mother's Day and I went to the mall early in the morning specifically to find the best gift... Only to then discover that I bought things my mom would never want. Commence the panic and me digging through bins of stuff at my house to find a present for her, with the only viable option being a poem my sister wrote and was offended at me for just turning into a a Mother's Day present without consent. Suffice to say, it was a stressful disaster of an effort.

I had a dream that for some reason Animal Farm (a book I have never read) had a lot of anime girls in it.

Last night I had a dream that I was playing a Roblox port of Pokemon Legends: Arceus and I offhandedly said that I like Lycanroc and a Midnight Lycanroc started chasing me. So as usual I ran away but it kept going, before I reached some sort of futuristic metal structure (which pla does not have) and the Lycanroc that was STILL following me pulled out a knife and I ran away even further. Then I woke up.

Last night I had a horrific dream, unfortunately. See, before sleeping, I was waiting for my brother and his wife to return from a special event that was held northwest of my town; while I was waiting, I was editing TV Tropes to crosswick examples to a game page, but from time to time I went outside to see if there were signals of them walking back home. In one of thoe instances, I saw one of the cats living in the house eating a small snake (though I think it was just an earthworm, I couldn't tell). Being the ophidiophobic idiot I am, I was horrified, so I just hoped the cat would be okay afterwards. The ones I waited for came so late that I hadn't slept until after 4 am.

Well, in this dream, there was a huge white snake with its belly inflated in the yard. It was obvious that it had eaten the cat as revenge for the latter having eaten the snake/earthworm in real life. I only slept five hours, and you can imagine why I didn't want to sleep afterwards.
