Weird dreams

So, it starts with Buzz and Woody (yeah, the Toy Story toys) babysitting a kid, then it cuts to a family trying to do some construction that doesn’t fall and then it cuts to a teeth based cartoon that then turns into a fish-related thing.

I just had another dream involving tropers.

I was in this really intense brawl with some other people. Most were normal people I didn't recognize, but strangely, there were also some Marvel villains, like Kraven the Hunter and Scorpion.

Anyway, it was scary. People were beating each other with anything they could find lying around. I was just trying to stay alive.

Eventually, I found this mysterious woman standing away from the battle. Apparently anyone in the fight could talk to her. She would ask what they wanted from the fight or something. I told her I wasn't sure how I got there and I just wanted to run away.

She revealed that some other tropers - Bluethorn, Tropes, Chey, Zanreo, and more, were in the brawl too, and in same situation. So she somehow transported us all far away, to one of the tropers' houses.

But some people from the brawl somehow got there too and tried to hurt us. So we set up some traps to stop them with Looney Tunes-esque Amusing Injuries, with dynamite and anvils and such.

Once we were safe, we went inside and hung out together, in whoever's house that was. 😅

I forgot most of it, but it was almost all related with JTTW and I had a carpet of screenshots of a new series focusing in Sandy.

And the horse, too.

A lovely nightmare that resulted from my ecstasy of getting 2 new roommates after dealing with roommates from hell last semester:

One of my shitty old roommates somehow managed to move back in, with zero explanation even though I kept asking her why she came back. She then invited over some weird, sketchy faceless people wearing all black and threw a huge party in our apartment. Just as the faceless people entered, the furniture disappeared and the walls and floors turned a flat gray like an unfinished setting out of an Obvious Beta video game. I got extremely uncomfortable and tried to hide in my room, but the door was gone. I ended up jumping out the window, somehow landing on my feet, and running to my college's library. One of the faceless people from the party followed me and chased me throughout, wielding a weapon of some sort. The floor and walls were a flat gray like my apartment, but the bookshelves, tables, and couches remained. I kept running and hiding but I could only do it in slow motion.

Don't do bad roommates, kids.

My college was undergoing some renovations, so I was forced to go to classes at my old high school.

Well, almost my old high school.

You see, the layout was all wrong and the parking lot looked more like something out of an Elaborate University High than my actiual old high school. Yet it was apparently the same school I graduated from... I don't even know how to describe it, it was just weird.

Anyway, on my first day back I wasn't assigned a locker, so I was just kind of forced to pick one and roll with it. It didn't require a combo, so I had to use a lock and key provided by the school to keep it closed. I also just felt awkward as fuck being surrounded by teenagers.

There came a point where I had to go to a human biology class^note Side note: All the courses I'm actually taking this upcoming semester are psychology courses. Not sure why my brain went with human bio. that was very far away from one of the classes I was taking. You see, my actual high school had a completely separate wing (that was very clearly stuck in the 80's decor-wise) containing the 3 gyms (yes, 3), classrooms for health, home ec and shop classes, and an isolated little computer lab. In my dream, they managed to expand it and create what felt like a labyrinth from hell. I kept trying to find the room I was supposed to have my class in (Room JH, apparently), but it didn't exist. A teacher in one of the classrooms I barged into told me that I could just walk into any room and I'd be at my correct class, but I was skeptical. It eventually got to the point where the warning bell rang, so I just completely gave up.

I've had dreams like that too, where I'm back at one of my old schools but the layout is all different. In fact, I'd say I've had several.

i was playing breath of the wild but. it was different? like if i was playing a parallel universe version of it. i only remember finding an armor set called broth's armor (what) and some mokoblins. Fuck

Um, so it was me and my classmates (their debut in my dreams, and pretty good animation on them to boot) in Disneyland Paris as a Masterchef Junior program, but we forgot an ingredient and we went through the other cooking places, our foster home (where we found it but left it and somehow pretended to be dolls then) the square too while asking if we could rush to the supermarket to get it but a fire eater dancing kid saying “YOU CANNOT GO BACK”. And I woke up.

I was walking around my old high school with some of my friends.

I was barefoot for some reason, though.

Been a while since I posted here, here's a few dreams from the last few months I've written down lately-ish (though I don't remember a lot from most of them...) Maybe writing stuff down properly more often (as opposed to just quick, mobile-keyboard-typo-filled notes after I wake up) will help me get more interesting dreams I can remember more of :P

• I was at either the local anime merch shop or the comic/manga/board game/geek stuff shop, and they had a bunch of Ika Musume merch, some of it pre-owned along with some Hatsune Miku figurines/plushies, and this is how I found out the shop (in-dream) now took in pre-owned merch. (The shop also had a different layout from real life, as is common for dreams) I also saw DVDs of the show, with most of them being sold separately as just 2 episodes and one for just episode 13 + OVAs, which I thought was weird.
• Was playing Pokemon Sword, started a new save just for fun... and forgot that the game only had one save file until it was too late. D: (In the dream, I think the game had the usual/old "continue/new game" start-up screen despite SwSh dropping this)
• I looked up the newest videos for KFAD2 and Donkey Kong had just... decided to drop out of the tournament somehow, for some reason

I dreamed I was at the DMV to get a new card, but they ended up putting the wrong name on it (it was a man's name, I forgot the first name but the middle was Brian iirc) and the photo looked... SO wrong. The photo was all old and wrinkled and not very attractive but the clerk assured me that yes, this was my photo. Somehow. Despite looking way older and uglier than I am.

I think I asked them if they'd given me Dorian Gray's ID card by mistake, and then I woke up.

When my alarm went off this morning, I grabbed my phone and tried to stop it, but no matter how hard I tried, it wouldn't stop. Then I woke up all the way and realized I was just dreaming that I was stopping my alarm, and my phone was still sitting there in its usual spot. Whoops.

Last night, I dreamed that my favorite live-action film got a detailed novelization for its 30th anniversary.

And that my current fanfic project got adapted into a TV show.

Nice dream, for the most part.

Which movie is that?

I was playing Pokemon Shield (which I haven't even started IRL) when one of the NPCs said that there's a wild Manaphy in one of the coastal areas of the region. So I went there and sent out my Scorbunny to catch it, but realized what an idiot I was for using a Fire-type against a Water-type, so I reset the game.

luigi was piloting a vic viper erasing bacterians to apparently pay off for an island or something like that?

All I can remember from my dreams last night was that there was a weird adult version of The Magic School Bus (adult in that there was just a lot more swearing than usual for some reason, most of it from Janet of all people) and dropping my phone into a toilet.

In my dream last night, I was exploring a medieval castle. I was searching for a particular sword for my brother, but I never found it. But I had my own sword, which was good because I wound up having to fight the "vizier", who looked nothing like a Middle Eastern vizier. He was a tall, muscular white man with blonde hair, with red and blue clothing and a breastplate.

At one point I accidentally gave myself a tiny cut on the leg with my sword, and I distinctly felt the pain. The weird thing is, that part of my leg was still aching for a short time after I woke up...

I watched a King for Another Day-based Caramelldansen video (set to the KFAD2 remix version) featuring the contestants, though I only got to watch a few clips because... dreams, and some parts didn't have the characters doing the dance, but just... popping up in front of the screen. Actually found the link in a TVT forum post (possibly in the "Post something you found that made you laugh" or another funny things thread) and was about to reply to it

Last night's dream:

It was Christmastime and my folks and I kept running into this weird Christmas parade that consisted of three or four guys in a Jeep pulling several empty red carts behind them that read something along the lines of "Charlie's Christmas Cavalcade" or something like that. We ran into them around town and then we saw them driving around our house in an SUV. By that point, we decided that they were trying to rob our house and took measures to prevent them from doing so ala Home Alone. They ended up getting scared off by the first "trap" (popping their Jeep's tires on nails we put on our driveway). Then a ton of police showed up and congratulated us on catching the robbers (even though they escaped) and rewarded us with ten thousand dollars, a bunch of grass mats, and "the dead skin off your uncle's foot".

Then the dream abruptly switched to a weird version of the Phineas and Ferb episode "Does This Duckbill Make Me Look Fat?". It still had the basic premise of Candace and Perry switching bodies, but there was no Doof subplot (nor did Perry leave to go face off with him) and it simply involved Phineas and Ferb and their friends trying to help Candace and Perry look normal in front of everyone as Linda had a party for the neighborhood moms at their house. The whole time, Perry-as-Candace was blatantly acting like his non-pet self in front of the boys and everyone else, but nobody seemed to notice or care. At the end of the "episode", Candace and Perry randomly switched back to normal with no fanfare, and Candace began chasing Irving around the house when she realized that he had been filming everything the whole time (weirdly not so she could show Linda and attempt to bust Phineas and Ferb but because she wanted to destroy the footage). However, she forgot about it when Jeremy came over and the episode ended with a music number about Candace and Jeremy.

It was Black Adam: The Movie, but he was more like his classic comic counterpart and wasn’t The Rock.

The movie opens in a lot of panels of Adam traveling through the desert. He’s totally reincarnated, but keeps all of his previous life’s memories. He left some kind of paper (saying 42069 in it) in some pyramid and wants to get it back. But when he arrives inside (with a girl companion who is totally Andrea Thomas, the old Isis) he goes directly to open a sarcophagus and cut some blood from her to try to revive someone who is probably his wife in his old life. But it doesn’t work, and she then kisses him. The room starts to rumble, he goes “You fool! You angered the gods!” while they are transformed into their powered selves and teleported outside. He starts to get angry with her but then says he cannot get angry with such a beautiful girl and kisses her (the actual dialogue going “You angered the gods and destroyed my only chance to revive her, but how can I resist those green eyes of you?”).

Then we get a freaking dramatic cut to Adam pinned down by what is probably adult Simba with wings and lightning powers with a bunch of cuts through whatever fabric the suit is made of. Then thankfully Isis goes, throws Simba away, tries to detransform and get that magic lighting to hit Simba, and when it doesn’t work Adam just runs and screams “Shazam” and kills Simba.

Then we get them laying in a bed in a cruise ship and sleeping. While arriving to Philadelphia (no idea if they could really get there by boat by the Atlantic Ocean). He goes once to help a falling bus and meets with the Marvel Family/Shazamily. He flies away when he sees the lightning symbol in Billy’s suit.

The film ends and I wake up.

I was hanging out with some lady who had this piercing above her lip and had attached these weird squiggly bar things to it, and I was pointing out to a co-worker that she looked like a cartoon villain. Anyway apparently piercing lady was actually evil and she was laughing evilly and rubbing a piece of steel wool against my fingertip because it was supposed to make my finger go numb. She was telling me that her piercing was "very significant and important to her evil plan" and that I should know this.

And apparently I did know her "evil plan" and was playing dumb because it annoyed her, but I woke up before said evil plan could actually come to fruition (allegedly it involved making more things than my finger feel numb, according to her)

Wtf.
