IIRC, any and all scenes of the afterlife from Buu's awakening onwards not directly related to Goku or Vegeta are filler.
Yamcha and Krillin training at Daikaio's place? Filler. Frieza and Cell being Bash Brothers in Hell? Filler. Pure Buu threatening the afterlife before Goku and Vegeta catch his attention with a ki beacon? Filler. Dabura's picnic with Bulma and Chi-Chi? Filler.

Oh God! Natural light! It is, actually. Of all the terrible filler Toei has added to the series, it's far from the worst.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.It was mentioned, never seen.
Pretty much anything that's not directly related to the main plot or pads out a scene longer than normal are likely to be filler. So after Buu killed everyone, they were basically written out of the story until they were brought back with the Dragon Balls.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yeah. Even things you'd think wouldn't be filler can be filler. Like, did you know that in the manga, we never see the revivals of Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu after Namek? The manga's just like, "And then they revived everyone else, it was awesome, MOVING ON WE GOT STORY TO TELL!"

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Toei had to handle Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu's revivals themselves and, because Toei is Toei, they immediately f*cked everything up the second they were handed the reins.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Well, Krillin's revival was in the manga, and that's the main reason it's complicated. A consistent aspect of resurrecting someone is that they are revived where their remains are. This was a very important plot point in the Saiyan arc: Goku was late to the battle because he kept his body. He was wearing his remains, which means reviving him only removed his halo and "Dead" label; he was still physically on Kaio's world.
Since Namek was destroyed, the obvious conflict here is that resurrecting Krillin would bring him back to life in space where Namek used to be. So they had to burn a second wish to move him before reviving him in order to make it possible for Krillin to be revived on Earth.
Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha have no excuse for being revived on Bulma's front lawn, however. By all rights, they should have revived in the afterlife, then returned to Earth through the Lookout like Goku did. Yamcha especially has no excuse for being revived in a nearby fountain.
It's one thing to contradict metaphysic rules laid out in previous arcs, but this is one of Toei's more egregious cock-ups because it contradicts a ruleset that was relevant to the exact same f*cking scene, just a few minutes before.

I mean, he didn't even bother to show their revivals? What's up with that? Considering that reviving them was a big part of the arc and all, it's rather odd that it was left out.
So yeah, Toei fucked up with how they did it (though I don't blame them for wanting to expand the scene a little since it's something that I think should have been covered), but they should have been given something to work with in the first place.
This has been another post by Handsome Rob, finding some way to blame Akira Toriyama for Toei's fuck-ups since 2014.
I mean, I just figured that since the Candy Beam was magic, not ki-based, that Vegito was able to remain conscious as a jawbreaker because his very existence was magic, due to being a magic based fusion between a living and a dead person, and that interfered with the technique.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!That just seems a lot more complicated than, "Because he's really, really strong."
I just have to say that "Strongest Candy in the Universe" is probably one of the best things in Dragon Ball.
Also, on the topic of filler in Vegetto VS Boohan, every part of the fight before Vegetto goes Super Saiyan is filler. Really damn good filler but it wasn't in the manga.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!@Tobias Well, the Change Beam's flaw seems to be that it's easy for stronger people to dodge. Evil Boo deflected it with his breath and Goku dodged it at point blank rank (and he wasn't that much stronger than Boo). Vegetto didn't dodge because he was dicking around (and may be a little bit PIS given how easily he avoids absorption).
But yeah, the manga would suggest it's just about his power.
And sometimes it's like a Nilla Wafer.
...
It means that I'm hungry.

Well, now I don't know what to think. I hope it's a power thing. I mean, I'd like to think that Majin Buu couldn't have immediately resolved the threat of Beerus destroying Earth by turning him into candy, since Beerus doesn't have the "Being Vegetto" feat listed on his character sheet.
Also, since it was asked: no, the Strongest Candy in the Universe is not filler. That actually happened in the manga.
