Yeah. Her name is Erika and she and Nick got married I wanna say about two years ago (it may be more). I remember it being a bit of a thing with Lani dropping out of TFS Gaming for his honey moon. She shows up on stream occasionally and has frequently interrupted streams by logging in using Nick's account on their PS 4 which kicks Nick off of his account and the game because Sony is retarded.

Who underhypes Part 1 of JoJo? Sure, it's not as good as the later parts and Part 3 is the most famous (and arguably the best) but it's still really damn good.

Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!In one of the more recent Jump Gameplay videos, Lani was joking with Kirran and Grant how terrible his original abriding was.
And I think why a lot of those early Abridging series came off as pretty rough was because so many people attempted to do everything by themselves, editing, scripting, voicing all the characters. And then you throw in really bad reference material for the episodes they were abridging.
In an interesting way, the first season as it is also kind of serves as a time capsule for what our culture was like back when it was released.

Yeah, Lani's first episodes of Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged felt kind of like he was trying to blatantly Follow the Leader in regards to Little Kuriboh, Masako X, and Vegeta 3986, and not in the good way.
Anyone have any thoughts about Sailor Moon Abridged? I watched it a while back, and honestly, volume and editing issues aside, it was pretty funny, but also really dark (and sometimes crossed the line to being not funny). Megami 33 has a pretty fucked up sense of humor. I liked the person who voiced Sailor Mars, though, she was like an even more demented version of Mr. Popo.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?It makes a lot of jokes about the original English dub (not quite uncalled for, given that dub was pretty shit), and does the stereotypical "Abridges series version of X character is fucked up". Sailor Moon is a bulimic bitch, Sailor Mercury is quiet to the point of incomprehensibility and the straight man (and later becomes the resident Captain Obvious who shouts everything that's going on), Sailor Mars is a psychotic goth who shouts all of her lines and has a fixation on demons, Sailor Jupiter is voiced by a dude and speaks in exaggerated urban speech (and is implied to be MTF trans), Sailor Venus is Paris Hilton, Luna is...well, pretty much the same but much more exasperated with the Sailor Scouts's bullshit, and Artemis is a drunk Australian.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Well some of the jokes in it are pretty dated. Like, there's so many goddamn bulimia and rape jokes (that feel purely like shock value) in there that I'm glad I didn't finish the entire series. Looking at it, Megami 33 didn't even write most of it, Kris Rix, the woman who voiced Sailor Mars, was the main writer behind the series.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yes and no. Episode 7 of Hellsing was posted on the 31st of December (which technically means they kept their promise of two episodes a year), but Part 2 of Broly is still not up yet. I've no idea if they've even started on Episode 8.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Day four-hundred and seventy-FUCK of the Broly hostage whatever:
Kaiser's released the B-Virus upon humanity, turning everyone into screaming green-haired roid machines. Now Megami Man X and Ziro must fuck-I mean...turn the world back to normal by collecting the Seven Chaos Emeralds and stopping Bowser from kidnapping the princess...
...I think.
We're going mad here. Quick, let's talk about more abridged series by people from TFS! Anyone know anything about Kaiser's old Lupin the Third abridged series? I tried finding it and I only found 3 episodes on an archival channel, and two of them were already deleted.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? There's only one gag from YYHA that I really liked enough to remember all these years later, and that was the one where Yusuke flashed back on his teacher attempting to lure him into a pedophilic encounter, specifically for Yusuke's, "Yeah, I'm gonna go back to repressing that."
I did notice that the ending of the Rando arc in YYHA got adapted into DBZA. Lani changed it so that Genkai beats Rando's ass after he wins the tournament rather than Yusuke winning by pure luck. A similar change would later appear in DBZA, when Kaio-sama beats the Ginyu Force's ass off his planet rather than them being a test for the Earthlings who somehow manage to defeat them.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub."Repressing in 5... 4... 3... 2... 1..." *VAVOOM* "Aaaaand repressed."
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Oh yeah, that was funny.
I'm looking at Pokemon 'Bridged by 1KidsEntertainment right now. Him and his two co-stars, xJerry64x and Nowacking, were mentioned by Little Kuriboh in his History of Abridging video (and of course Nowacking has done voice acting for Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, cameoed in None Piece by Purple Eyes WTF, and is a big fixture of the Brony voice acting community), so I figured I'd give them a look, and there series is pretty damn surreal. I think it came out in 2009 or so, but the humor is like a predecessor to Purple Eyes WTF and Faulerro's videos.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?I know there's an Avatar Abridged made by Gan Xingba. It went all the way up to near the end of Book 1. It was pretty funny, though I was 15 or so when I watched it, so things may have changed.
For some other abridged show goodness, I'd like to recommend Seven Deadly Schmucks and A Slap On Titan.

The legend has returned.

Yu Yu Hakusho Abridged introduced me to this song (man, Lani's been doing this for a long time), so it's all good.
Though looking back on it, the "use the characters as a bunch of gags" style-jokes are a lot less likeable than DBZ Abridged's more "combine gags with the characters' characterization & plot" approach, though to be fair DBZ Abridged was a like that in its first season as well.
I adore YYH, so despite knowing it's total wishful thinking I hang onto a little hope that TFS will adopt and restart YYH Abridged one day.
