Why does everyone hate GT? I like GT.
Whether they keep doing DBZ abridged I'm sure Team Four Star will remain a thing though.
You are not alone. The only thing I hate about GT is that it is written like a bad Z movie instead of a show. The concept was good and I felt Super Saiyan 4 was more of a final evolution to the Super Saiyan line than 3 did. The villain differ per person so I won't get into that, but the ending was terrible. Most of it was a rehash of Z and then Goku does the dumbest shit ever.
The Reaper Games starts anew.Sometimes I think he was the progenitor, too.
I don't like to, I just think it.
Also, it'd give him more sons to ignore.
...I think the basic idea of the Shadow Dragon Arc, deconstructing the Dragon Balls because it used to be that they were only found once a hundred years, until Bulma and her radar meant that people were using them at least twice a season was clever. It wasn't well executed in my opinion, but the idea itself was an okay one. A good one. A great one even.

Well, the Namekians didn't use their bloody Dragon Balls that often. Mostly the Dragon Balls sat on a shrine in the village. The Namekians might not have tested what happened when the Dragon Balls were so horribly misused like they were for pretty much the entire series.
EDIT: Although, yeah, destroying the world seems a bit much.

...That implies that there were good Z movies. I don't think there were many of those. Maybe one.
Look, I'm not saying it was executed well. Just that it was a decent idea. Also, there are plenty of times when people create things and don't know how they would work under extreme conditions, so just because the Namekians created the Dragon Balls doesn't mean they would automatically know what would happen when they were used to bring at least one person back to life a year.

Not necessarily good, but it could be implying their are mediocre Z movies instead.
I think Fusion Reborn is pretty good for a Z movie. Ignoring the Toei wank, Wrath of the Dragon is also fun.
No, the Namekians know exactly how their Dragon Balls work. We see this in Z.
I think losing their power might be a good idea, spawning evil dragons is a terrible idea.

Maybe all he was doing was making the Dragon Balls the same way the original asshole Namekians made them. And when did the Namekians know exactly how the Dragon Balls worked in Z? There are plenty of times when something is created, but you won't know exactly what the hell it actually does until you test it. And then, when something is made a long enough time ago, the next generation starts forgetting things.
I mean, yeah, they made the Dragon Balls, and they get the whole "grants wishes" thing, but the Dragon Balls weren't used that often on Namek, so they might not have known the exact results that would occur from them being used near constantly like what happened when Bulma came up with her radar.

They made the rules, too. When Dende creates the new set of Dragon Balls he explains how he can decide what the rules are and whatnot. They didn't just shit out a bunch of Dragon Balls without knowing what was going on.
And again, the Nameless Namekian created the first Dragon Balls, and knew they would destroy the world without testing.
And in GT, the negative energy problem was already known about by Kibitoshin, Old Kaioshin, Mr. Popo, Dende and apparently the entire Namekian race, yet none of them ever mentioned anything about it despite the shadow dragons having the ability to wipe out the universe.

They don't know how far they'll go. If they don't burn out, they'll at least do all of Z.
