Perpetually Confused

Nope
...huh. I've been rewatching Dragon Ball for the past few months and I could've sworn that they called Puar a girl. Then again, I'm watching the English dub...
Eh, then maybe I'm just misremembering something.

No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!Puar's gender is never mentioned in zee dub...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. At some point I want DB Cember to get meta and have them rate their favorite DBZ Abridged episodes. But they probably shouldn't do that next year.
Puar's a shapeshifting cat thing. That doesn't really count as introducing bukujutsu. Nobody saw Puar and went, "Wow, Puar is a master of a secret martial arts technique that could teach our protagonists to fly!" They saw Puar and went, "Weird levitating cat thing that shapeshifts. Neat."
This is even true of the characters. Bukujutsu was formally introduced to the franchise when Tien and Chiaotzu showed up at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budokai and not one person went, "Oh, that's the flight technique we are all completely familiar with because our friend Puar can do it."
We don't even know if Puar knows bukujutsu. He might just be able to fly because he's a shapeshifting cat thing.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. You're right. Shapeshifting cats are much more natural flyer than Triclops, Alien Slug Men, and Alien Monkey Men. Basic biology right there there.
By that logic we don't know if Freeza can do it. Or Vegeta. They might be using other alien flying technique. Maybe Freeza can fly coz he's a Freaky Alien Genotype and it's part of his species. After all, bukujutsu is the signature move of the Crane School according to Roshi. Saying all Flying=Bukujutsu is like saying all ki blasts are the Kamehameha since it was the first one name dropped :-P
Heck, by that logic maybe Goku is also using a different technique for flight he learned of Popo or Kami.

Bukujutsu was introduced alongside the Triclops and before the Alien Slug Man. And yes, it is not out of the question for something that is entirely fantastic to have fantastic powers. Had Goku's giant monkey form been capable of flight, nobody would have questioned that either. Hell, even in his base form, had Goku been introduced flying about, he would just be the flying monkey boy.
Tien and Chiaotzu's ability to fly as a martial art was impressive because up until that point, no martial art granted the power of flight. Giran flew because he had wings, Puar flew because he's a flying cat thing, Goku even flew one time by spinning his tail really fast like a helicopter rotor, but those two stepped up and said, "There is a martial art that allows people to fly and we are masters of it."
That was the introduction of bukujutsu. Not Puar.

I'm interested to hear what they have to say about Frieza, both good and bad...if there is any bad.
I didn't know that it was Vegeta who specifically pushed waiting for the Androids to come. I assumed that was somewhat Goku's idea as well.
One Strip! One Strip! It might be that I just forgot as well.
I remember him saying he wasn't scared of them, but it's also been a long time since I caught that scene, so him being the one to veto just killing Gero while they could is something that might have slipped my mind.
One Strip! One Strip!...I don't know.
Anyway, yeah. Didn't remember Vegeta saying I'll fight them when they come cause I ain't a bitch, and y'all better do the same.
I've been blaming the whole group for something that he mostly pushed for it seems (though Goku was probably all for it as well).
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
You all weren't even talking about what they said in the video, just that you liked their analysis. I mean, if you actually thought putting "Duh" was appropriate that tells you how necessary the spoiler actually is.
Though, frankly, using spoiler tags at all for this seemed pointless. It's just their own personal opinions, it's not that serious.
