I mean, King Piccolo was literally an embodiment of evil.
Like, demons in Dragon Ball are different from that, but I'd be perfectly fine considering King Piccolo a demon in a more colloquial sense.
...I kinda wish/hope that Mira and Towa will get involved in Dragon Ball Super to some extent. Like. The Dragon Ball Online and the stuff about the Makaioshin indicates Toriyama put at least some thought into the Demon Realm and stuff.

Only if you assume that Toriyama being effective at communicating the ideas in his work is part of my point. I have never accused him of being a brilliant visionary. Quite the contrary, I have repeatedly stated that Dragon Ball would have benefitted greatly from even the slightest bit of foresight.
Cell, as a concept, embodies everything that came before him. He's the culmination of Goku's entire journey. A deadly casserole of every foe Goku's ever faced.
That he does a shit job of it is on execution, not concept.
Regarding Piccolo Daimao
I can definitely support him for #3, though it bugs me that they're doing that thing again. On multiple occasions, some in-show, TFS has complained about Piccolo getting downgraded from demon to alien. The issue with this is that it's not really a thing.
Piccolo is a demon because he is the evil counterpart of God. He's Dragon Ball's Satan figure. He is also an alien because the person who ascended to become Earth's current God is a Namekian. Consequentially, Piccolo is both a Namekian and Satan. He is an alien demon. He was never demoted.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Anyway, favorite technique I'm gonna go with my top three:
- The Spirit Bomb. I really liked it as a concept. Even if sorts ends up being The Worf Barrage most of the time.
- Piccolo's Hellzone Grenade (It even has a cool name!)
- Rock, Scissors 'N' Paper
Cell's concept, at it's core, is that he's a biologically manufactured bug monster absorbing others in order to become stronger. None of that does in any way embody the arcs that came before him. That he's created by a retroactive member of the RRA and that his genetic code happens to include the DNA of a bunch of previous characters has nothing to do with who he is conceptually.
The best technique in Dragon Ball is bukujutsu.
The characters wouldn't have gotten anywhere without it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!True but, without bukujutsu, everyone would have died at multiple points.

Well, see, it's not just fall damage they'd have to worry about; it's travel speed, too. For example, if Goku couldn't fly, it would have taken him way longer to go back across Snake Way and return to Earth. By the time he arrived, Gohan and Krillin probably would have been long dead.
Bukujutsu should definitely rank high on any list of best techniques because it's the only technique that is so ubiquitous to the series that many fans actually forget it's a technique. Despite not being introduced until the 22nd Budokai and some characters never even learning it, it's become a universal staple of the franchise.
Nobody even thinks about it anymore. Designing a Dragon Ball character? Well, s/he flies. How does s/he fly? When did s/he learn bukujutsu? Doesn't matter. It's a Dragon Ball character, s/he goddamn flies.
Hell, thanks to the West airing Z before DB, there are even parts of the fandom that never found out it's a technique and not just something that anyone who learns to use ki can do. It's deeply ingrained in the soul of the series.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Pretty sure Puar predates the 22nd Budokai. And he flies.
Even Freeza's soldiers, who need blasters coz they can't do any Ki blast, know how to fly o_O

Not particularly constructive man, I will never understand this aversion people have to someone actually thoroughly explaining their opinion and why they disagree with something.
Just going, "I disagree" is fine, but that's not for everyone. I mean, you seem to hold seem deeply disagreeable opinions about things but it never really seems like you back them up adequately that people wouldn't even bother questioning them.
