Piccolo (well, the nameless Namek) and Buu are quite similar: Splits in good and evil half, evil half gets killed, evil half reincarnates. Piccolo's evil half got the memories as well, but he was on the path of becoming a different individual from very early on.
IIRC, Piccolo also canonically inherited the perpetual youth wish Daimao was granted.
And, literally speaking of the devil, just remembered he gets a scene in the Buu saga where he utterly curbstomps Babidi. I will be getting hyped for that, some years down the road.

I mean, the pronunciation of the two is fairly different. It's not a big deal it just seems like the kind of thing he'd actually mention.
He didn't wish for eternal youth, apparently he only wished to regain his youth. Or so those who've actually read the entire series tell me.

I mean, I've seen the part where he makes his wish, and unless they changed it from the manga or I am misremembering, all he wished for was his youth back.
Which is kinda dumb (aside from the obvious reasons), because he didn't wish for Kami's youth back. Which means that when Kami died of old age, so would he.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseThat seems like ann odd wish.
Especially since he flat out killed the only way to get his youth back when he got old again.
That being said, he'd killed most of the marital artists on the planet, and the one dude who showed he stood a chance of stopping him (Master Roshi) died, taking the Mafuuba with him.
How was he supposed to know some asshole monkey kid (that he'd killed earlier) would suddenly get hyped up on magic steroids and kick his ass.
He was supposed to be fucking up the Earth for the rest of his life, not getting killed by some random kid mere hours after conquering every thing.
One Strip! One Strip!Eternal Youth.
In Lord Slug Abridged, he yells that he should have wished for Immortality instead.
One Strip! One Strip!Daimao wished for his youth back to get his power back. He didn't necessarily have any aspirations for living forever or anything like that.
Piccolo's also aged in his appearance in Dragon Ball Online, which is the only product we have that goes far ahead enough in the story for Piccolo to start showing signs of age.

Sounds about right.
As long as some random kid didn't murder him barely a day after he was back at full power, he didn't really care when he died.
...So....next time, he really should try eternal life.
In fact, he should have wished for Youth, gathered up the balls again quickly before they scattered (Goku once grabbed the Four Star Ball before it flew away) ate them again, held on to them for a year, then wished for Immortality.
I mean, Goku would have still killed him, but planning long term would have been smart.
Or alternatively, he should have tried wishing for eternal life and youth in one wish.
Dragon! Grant me my youth and immortality!
There. Bulletproof.

One Strip! One Strip!....
Wow. That's a very good question.
Too bad we'll never know the answer. I doubt Toriyama ever thought about it.
One Strip! One Strip!Makes you wonder whether or not Garlic Jr is aging.
I suppose I can see the logic in KP's wish. Immortality without youth is always a problem, and the dragon might've refused to merge the two requests in one wish. In that case, If his plan was always to kill the dragon so nobody could use a wish against him, youth is definitely the go-to.
he should've at least tried to game the system first, though.
I have a message from another time...I think it's on the Dragons' character sheets that they're an aversion of Jerk Ass Genie. They always seem to know exactly what the wisher is implying, and if it's within their power, gives them that even if they don't ask in the most explicit way.

Except for Pilaf wishes in the sequels anyway
The Dragons will totally tell you how shit works and throw in bonuses as well.
edit: Wait, why would you put "aversion to Jackass Genie" on their character sheet instead of Benevolent Genie?

Although Porunga seems to be a bit more jerkish than Shenron. Otherwise, when they wished for Piccolo to be on Namek, he wouldn't have appeared on the other side of the planet.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!

For the record, "Ginyu" isn't actually the Japanese word for milk "Gyuunyuu" is. Speaking of which, I'm half surprised Kaiser pronounces it "wrong" just like the rest of us.
