For the remaining groups I'm kind of predicting going:

- 8: Tao
- 7: Majin Buu
- 6: Androids 17 & 18
- 5: Beerus
- 4: Cell
- 3: King Piccolo
- 2: Vegeta
- 1: Freeza
Honorable Mentions: Babidi, Dabura, Crane School, Turles, Super Android 17, and the Super Villains

@Lion Heart 0, I am very curious why you think that Cell and Buu won't make the top 3 along with Frieza.
I mean, 17 and 18 ahead of Buu?

I don't think Vegeta will be particularly high. His fight was good and he set the stage for a whole slew of new characters but most of what made him a great character came after his stint as the antagonist was over.

This song needs more love....it's like Japan responding to the PC trend in comic books and going, "here's Totally Awesome Yamcha!"
Followed by Captain Son Pan, the Super Saiyan!

I hope you're right. As a villain, he was pretty meh. Between that and the obviousness of him, I really hope he gets listed soon (because even I know he will get listed).
His fight also sort of becomes the format for future DBZ fights. Fights where both enemies fly for a lot if not most of the fight. Multiple Power ups. Etc... They mention that in their "Best moments of DBZ"
Vegeta's fight was #7 in there btw.
Takahata 101: It also sets a precedence, for better or worse, of how future battles would play out. High level attacks. Advanced aerial fighting. Beam battles.
Lani: Endless banter.
Kaiser: Screaming.

They've stressed over and over this isn't (just) about liking them as characters or even as villains. Also, apparently they've called Frieza the greatest villain in the franchise so...
And I still don't get wanting Vegeta to be particularly high; like it's been said, most of the great stuff with him wasn't even when he was an actual villain. Even with that, he's still pretty much guaranteed for top 10 at this point, if they're going to put him on at all. Which, admittedly, it would seem weird to do.

The idea of limiting Vegeta's consideration to only the parts where he was the direct antagonist still seems to me like a strange attempt at a loophole. But I'm not willing to argue about that point, because hell, I don't know how TFS interprets it, and won't until Vegeta or Piccolo show up on the list.
I have a message from another time...I'll admit, most of it is me trying to predict how they will rank them. My issue with Majin Buu is that once he goes into his Super Form, it becomes too much of a retread of the Cell Saga (which itself, also felt like retread of Freeza IMHO).
Let's be real, there wasn't a lot to many of the character's personality. Buu was literally only a force of nature. Cell goes from a creepy predator to literally Freeza 2.0 once he gets his perfect form.

I would say the Vegeta fight was the best fight in the entire manga, together with the various world tournament finals. The heroes were struggling tooth and nail working together to fight a villain far stronger than any of them, only barely winning the fight with their lives intact. Comparing it to the Frieza/Cell/Buu fights, which all boil down to Goku/Gohan being one-sidedly outclassed by the villain until they unlock a new transformation which in turn makes them one-sidedly outclass the villain, and I'm honestly confused at how hard Toriyama dropped the ball after the Saiyan arc.

Listed Cell twice.
