I'm going to laugh if Yamcha isn't actually even in the baseball episode at all. Even sports consider him irrelevant.
Also, I would argue that just because a character isn't strong now it doesn't mean they won't ever be relevant. I can't even remember the last major fight Kid Trunks was in that wasn't as Gotenks yet he still had a decent role in the latest arc. Heck, Future Trunks himself was able to get close to Goku and Vegeta's level with no god power (maybe).

This song needs more love.Which is pretty silly, when you consider that 300x gravity would turn any normal person into mush.
That, and it's pretty clear that that level of gravity is well beyond the limits of most fighters, even in the DBZ universe. Recall that Pui Pui thought that he was giving himself a huge advantage by transporting Vegeta to his home planet, which has ten times Earth's gravity.
Speaking of which, remember the first time Goku went to King Kai's planet? He was floored by the increased gravity at first, and it took him some time to get used to it. Seems like Yamcha's failure in that filler scene was just a bad case of Can't Catch Up.
No beer?! But if there's no beer, then there's no beef or beans!Toriyama actually came up with that for the anime though.
And yeah, I don't expect Yamcha to be relevant at all for the baseball episode. Asking it to happen is asking too much.

Oh I'm not saying it was good writing but it did give someone who wasn't Goku and Vegeta a chance to give a good fight against the main antagonist. Something like that could be done without the ass pulling with a different character (like maybe Piccolo decides to go train with Whis and Beerus or something).

This song needs more love.Well, that's not what people are gonna do.
Lets stop this Yamcha talk. It's just gonna come back to mocking him anyway. There's literally no point in talking about him because all people want to do is make jokes about what a joke he is.
One Strip! One Strip!I mean, he still didn't die to it, even though the highest gravity he's accustom to is x10. For all the strength Goku and Vegeta had, Goku still had to pace himself when he was getting up to x100, and most of that came from the repeated Zenkais he was getting. Hell, Vegeta was probably equal to Goku's base power against Frieza at that point, and he was still struggling with x100+ gravity to the point he was knocked himself out from it. Yamcha not only lived through something that even Goku, who was hundreds, if not thousands, of times stronger than him at that point, would have trouble dealing with, he managed to stay conscious during the whole thing.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!What baseball episode? The only baseball scene in DBZ I know of is this one.
And Team Four Star skipped over it a loooooong time ago.
For some reason, people are talking about the upcoming Dragon Ball Super baseball episode in the Dragon Ball Z Abridged thread.

Dude. I'm telling you. Don't do this.
It's not gonna get you anything but more people mocking him. It won't work.
One Strip! One Strip! But Super is was drafted by Toriyama. Both the manga and the anime are using his notes, and her not fighting anymore is one of the things both have in common I believe.
So is it really on them?
One Strip! One Strip! My favorite part about the "Yamcha tries the gravity chamber" filler is all the comments on Youtube videos of it.
"It turns out the gravity chamber was actually out of order that day." is my favorite.
That and "I tried to watch the video, but I got a message saying 'A Yamcha occured, please try again later'."

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Women in Japan are "supposed" to marry and give up their "temporary juvenile hobbies" to become housewives.
The younger generations are moving past that, but remember, those are the reasons behind stuff like Office Lady or Christmas Cake.
At least we have Bulma (and Tights from time to time), but otherwise, it is a shame.

: Yeah, I've watched a good enough portion of DBZ, though only until around the mid-point of the Namek arc... and it was the horrendously macekred and censored Arabic dub, too. I get most of my DBZ info from second-hand sources such as the DB wiki and this very site.
On a different note, how come Mrs. Briefs doesn't have an entry on any of the DBZ Abridged character sheets when Dr. Briefs has one?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. The DB wiki is a horrible place to get information.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!It was so about a decade ago when I first found it, I admit. Nowadays it seems to have cleaned up its act considerably, similar to the Type-Moon Wiki (which used to be plagued with fanon being treated as canon).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.

See, that's the problem.
