Freeza's DNZ and his father's DNA would have been taken during their very brief visit to Earth. In the anime Cell even comments on how lucky it was that they came to Earth, otherwise they never would have been able to get their DNA. But I don't see how having someone's DNA makes you able to remember stuff that happened to that person. Unless Cell is a Goa'uld.
I was half-expecting that whole sequence to end with Cell not killing anyone and then revealing that the reporter's name was Toriyama.

This song needs more love.My favorite moment was Goku informing Bulma Chichi is pregnant and her reaction. Just... that, really made me smile.
We haven't gotten to see it a lot, what with Goku being dead most of the time, away, or far from Bulma. But just that little interaction still shows how close they are.
Also Gero's Son. Damn. Right in the feels.
The way the footage of Gero's sun was explained was incredibly awkward. The reference to 18 and 17's names was much better handled.
The original explanation Toriyama gave was such a huge Voodoo Shark anyway. As if having your entire organization and dreams crushed by one person isn't enough for someone to seek revenge.
Shit, Gero's son is in an illegal army that is trying to take over the world and has committed many atrocities. No feels from me.

Yeah but, as the reporter asked, "How'd you know about the parts you weren't there for?"
None of that makes sense. But it was just a CallBack to Freeza and I completely forgot about that scene.
