Ooo, not a good idea. Cease and desist is imminent.
Toei's okay with TFS doing Dragon Ball Abridged - apart from filing claims to put ads on their videos, of course - because that's old stuff that's reinvigorating interest in the franchise but IIRC they were told to stay away from Super because it's current. They've done a couple Super clips which I assume to be rebellion against the claims, but the point is that Toei's protective of the new show.
Whoever's doing this new show is probably going to get some correspondence from Toei soon.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I watched that video, and it wasn't great to be honest. For a positive, some of the voice acting isn't too bad for a first episode, notably Beerus and Whis, who carry most of the episode, and their voices sound similar to their official English voices.
For the stuff that wasn't so good, the pacing was a bit slow, and there were scenes that could have been shortened or cut entirely, like a long scene of Whis walking slowly with no dialogue or jokes while an anime song plays in the background. The writers copy a bit too much from Team Four Star, like the "My son, the planet or me?" bit. They have yet to learn that Obligatory Swearing isn't inherently funny, so King Kai as Sir Swears-a-Lot falls flat. Beerus is an otaku for some reason, which I assume will get built upon later, but it wasn't very funny here. My biggest complaint is the use of topical jokes on things like Pokemon Go and Donald Trump that will be dated in a week, and then not do anything original with them. "Donald Trump is like Hitler? Never Heard That One Before!" When they mentioned Hitler, I was hoping for a reference to the guy in the Janemba movie that Goten and Trunks fought who was definitely not Hitler, but I got my hopes up for nothing.
On the plus side, the creators are in the comments section, they are aware of these flaws and are taking steps to try and improve on them by next time. I don't know how much difference a three week schedule over the two weeks this episode was made in will make, but I don't want to be too hard on them, because everyone has to start somewhere after all, and standards are much higher nowadays than they used to be. If this were released around 2008 or so, I'd probably think it was quite good.
Cortex should take a 12-step plan off a 10-step pierNamek as a whole is probably their best work when it comes to comedy while the Android/Cell Saga is probably their best in terms of story interpretation and characters.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, I think that they've had some pretty strong comedic stuff lately. I'd prefer to wait until this arc's done before I compare them like that.
Which of the abridged movies do you guys think is their best?
Oh God! Natural light!Goten being erased from existence due to a Groin Attack (that's in the actual movie) is the best part for me.
That and Piccolo throwing a book into a spotlight to Glass Shatters.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, I feel like The Ginyu Force episodes in particular was the group's Growing the Beard moment. Burter having a Mental Breakdown over not being the fastest in the universe still cracks me up.

Super 13 and Cooler 1: The Story of Cooler - Preamble to the Return were probably my favorites. Notably, both had moments with Nail (and Kami), which makes everything better.
My favorite of the movies is Dead Zone - the more recent one, that is. I don't know how TFS keeps making those usually really dull Quirky Miniboss Squad movie minions so fun and hilarious, but I hope they never stop. Garlic's banters with his minions - especially the whole "you morons stole Goku's kid?!" scene - are still some of my favorite scenes in the entire series.

"HOW?! HOW DID YOU STEAL GOKU'S KID?!" "Well, first we beat up his wife." "Oh my shit."
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Lord Slug is probably my favorite 21 minutes of video on the internet.
In particular, Piccolo in that movie. Seriously, every moment of Piccolo is pure gold. From his banter with Nail, calling out of the Quirky Miniboss Squad, to WHAT!, to "Neat," but especially
- Piccolo: "Hey, Gohan. Gohan, you wanna do that thing? Where you get really mad and start beating the guy up ?...Gohan? ...Gohan? ...don't you f***ing ignore me."

Any decent Dog kingdom lawyer can have this dismissed. The document was at Bulmas' for how long? Nothing proves it was made by Dr. Gero. Anyone can put his name on things. Furthermore you're implying a scientist that by your account is so advanced he builds functioning AI and cyborgs makes his plans on paper?
