Yep, there's a link to it on the episode itself: http://teamfourstar.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/AinTunez-SSJ-Vegeta-Theme-Fauxchestral-Version.mp3
And they explain the choice behind the decision in the breakdown of episode 52: http://teamfourstar.com/video/dbza-episode-breakdown-episode-52/
Basically, the person that provided the theme approached TFS, and even though Kaiser is normally against the Faulconer's stuff, he recognized that Vegeta's theme was significant for most viewers, and liked the redo of the theme. So they put it in.
Since we are still talking about Faulconer's score, Kaiser said he intends to use a remixed version of the SSJ 3 theme.

No, he said "I can't forgive it being produced on a sheostring budget", something to that effect. He seemed to genuinely dislike it, while admitting there were some good things about it.
Which is problematic for me because the only parts of the original soundtrack I like were Gohan's transformation, Cha-La, and the Red Ribbon army theme.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Seriously, the original score was too "Chinese opera"-ish for me. That worked more for Dragon Ball, but not DBZ to me.
(2) Well... it does kind of influence what musical selection we're going to hear in future DBA episodes.
I won't fault him - truth be told if not for this thread pointing it out I wouldn't have noticed or cared - and the scene where Cell hummed his "Faulconer" theme was amusing.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!They can sense tranformation multipliers...
What?
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Yeah. Despite using the same form, Vegeta was fighting at 100% and Trunks was sandbagging. Not because Trunks surpassed Vegeta, but because Trunks was too much of an amateur to realize the drawbacks of the form Vegeta deliberately didn't use. It's all about attitude.
Think of it like a martial artist's controlled strike. The martial artist uses enough power in his punch. He doesn't go overboard throwing every ounce of strength he can into it. Trunks looks at Vegeta's punch and goes, "Hah, I can hit harder than that!" but misses the fact that Vegeta can too; he just knows better than to sacrifice technique for it.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.So it just occurs to me...
Trunks' brain is gonna melt when he realizes that for once, his dad actually used some common sense. I think at this point, he's aware of the fact that Vegeta lets his ego go to his head, but he's never really seen Vegeta when he's not like that.
Gonna be a harsh lesson.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm looking forward to the same, as well as Trunks returning the favor when Cell bloats up to his equivalent of Grade III in a failed attempt to keep up with SSJ2 Gohan.
Because TFS are masters of trash talk.

And when he comes back as Super Perfect Cell, it becomes pre-Final Boss music pretty much.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!
