You missed the part about wishing back Earth.tongue

Oh and Bulma's wish to revive Vegeta's victims at the tournament, and erasing memories of Boo from the general populace so he could live in peace.

Thanks guys. I don't understand the strikeout joke, though.

I probably should've mentioned that I also wanted to know which balls were used for each if I couldn't piece it together, cause it'd help me find out in which ways Krillin was revived. And also to figure out since when could Shenron grant two wishes.

"At least I got my clothes back." Stitches.

The wiki says which Dragon granted the wish.

The strikeout joke is referring to when Goku and Vegeta are fighting Pure Boo. Vegeta has Dende wish back Earth and its inhabitants so that Goku can create the Super Spirit Bomb, and they keep bugging him for what to do with the last wish, so he says he wants new boots because he can't think of anything.

Shen Long could grant two wishes since Dende revived him.

So much for wanting immortality.

At least they weren't greedy or anything, but at the same time, that's a colossal waste of a wish.

Not as much of a waste as the very first wish.

They don't actually grant the wish, because Vegeta tells him he's not being serious. He then notices that Goku doesn't actually have the energy to win the Spirit Bomb struggle and they use the wish to restore his energy.

[up][up]Materially, Oolong's wish wasn't worth much, but it did stop Pilaf from taking over the world. So that's something.

Just looked it up and they used Porunga to restore Goku's strength during the battle with Buu.

What was the reason for Krillin not being revived with th rest of them?. His corpse not being intact?

[up]He had already died before (killed by one of King Piccolo's minions, in Dragon Ball, if I recall) and the Earth dragon can't revive the same person twice.

Which is why they had to wait to revive him (and the others) with the Namekian Ball Z. Which was better, cause those didn't have that "only once" limitation.

Sadly, it had the limitation of "Can only rezz one person with a single wish". This was conveniently changed for the Buu Saga.

[up][up] Correct. I think it was Tambourine.

[up][up]That's because when the Dragon Balls change masters they can be upgraded by the new master.

[up][up][up] Actually it was changed by that Namekian guy when he became the new Super Kami Guru in the Cell Saga.

So since the Saiyan saga was 10 episodes and the Namek/Freiza saga was 20, does that mean the Android/Cell saga will be 30 episodes?

Sure why not.

How long were the sagas in relation to each other anyways?

[up] A lot of times the Saiyan saga and the Namek/Ginyu/Frieza saga are put together by fans and supplementary materials. Frieza was always sort of behind the scenes of the Saiyans of that saga, especially Raditz.

The whole Dr. Gero/Androids 17+18/Cell saga or series of sagas has a lot of shared plot points as well.

And technically, the Frieza saga doesn't really end until Trunks shows up.

They were all about fifty episodes in the anime. I want to say that Frieza and Cell were a bit longer than Vegeta and Buu were in the manga.

Anyway, can't wait for the conclusion to this episode. waii

[up]Last I looked at episode lists, the Namek/Ginyu/Freeza arc was about twice as long as the Saiyan arc (which fits the Abridged Series so far) and roughly the same length as the Trunks/Androids/Cell arc (which was a couple of episodes longer, if memory serves). The Tournament/Babidi/Buu arc was somewhat longer, though. Assuming the Abridged series holds to where it's been, Season 3 will probably also be approx. twenty episodes, and season 4 (Buu) I'd guess at about twenty-five. Again, that's just going based on relative length in the source material.

With that said, the anime version of DBZ was noticeably longer than the manga version during the Buu Saga - the Other World tournament arc is pure filler, and a lot of other stuff was added.

There was also a lot of stuff added regarding Gohan being in high school, and the like...

Didn't they say they weren't doing Buu? Where did I hear that from?

That was DBZ Kai that wasn't doing the Buu Saga.

Oh, gotcha.

One of my favorite jokes in this series remains "What's the opposite of Christopher Walken?". Yes, I'm thinking of it because of the South Park episode on right now.
