But anyway, question for Saiga, Vegeta theoretically could have killed Cell with the Final Flash if he'd actually hit Cell's whole body with all of it, right?

Just checking.

I like to think that Grade II is a 75x multiplier while Grade III is a 100x multiplier but is hindered by the insane energy consumption as well as the loss of speed.

I like to imagine that Vegeta's biggest failure with Cell is some combination of Cell's ability to dodge and Vegeta's inability to hit the broadest side of a space-barn.

[up][up][up]I'm pretty sure Piccolo or Cell said something to that effect.

Cell just shat his pants and wimped out at the last second.

I've also heard Vegeta had to arc the beam slightly to avoid taking the planet out.

It could be that Final Flash follows rules that energy beams seemed to have in the past

about how they were of a higher powerlevel than a fighter at his base

It might have killed cell, but Vegeta would have needed to hit every part of him.

With the narrower beam, that might not have worked (But narrowing it did probably add more umph to the blast)

The beam Gohan used to kill Cell didn't destroy the planet.

Of course Cell can dodge. He's part Piccolo.

I love how bad Vegeta's aim is.

Although contrary to what Cell implies, I'm pretty sure the Beam Spam thing actually kinda worked against Zarbon. Not that Cell would know that. Or care.

...Also, 16 was standing right behind Cell when Vegeta fired, how did he live through it?

Know what I would've genuinely liked to have seen?

An arc on Kami's predecessor, possibly with focus on the Nameless Namekian and Garlic Sr. I think that'd be super interesting for a special.

Well 16 was behind the target, that's like the safest place to be when Vegeta's doing his thing.

Yeah I wonder if he accidentally hit something or someone.

Man that would suck.

I mean, I like to think it did.

I choose to believe that Vegeta's Final Flash ruined someone's day.

I am pretty sure Cell did sidestep the beam as much as he could

his aim is better than somehow missing the planets core at least

also I guess the difference between Vegeta and Gohan was that Vegeta was aiming downwards as he was flying

Cell dodged at the last minute. Android 16 clearly moved out fo the way while Vegeta was charging. The Final Flash missed the planet because Vegeta curved it away from the planet after it hit Cell.

I'm not entirely sure why Vegeta flew up into the air. To me that seems like a bad idea?

Like, I think that beam was tall enough to be visible from space, and the height of it was. I dunno. I wanna say at least a mile? I'm not good at that sort of math. Someone take a screenshot and compare the size of the Final Flash to the size of the Earth. Then calculate that shit.

Granted, we don't know the exact dimensions of Dragon Ball's Earth, but I'd hazard a guess that they're at least comparable to our Earth.

Either way, the Final Flash was big enough that missing with it seems. Unlikely.

I still like the reference to how it went in the dub.

And man Perfect Cell is just a joy to listen to. His evil is somehow so entertaining! Probably because he's breaking Vegeta's Pride.

I was really hoping the final flash would blow up another planet in the post-credits scene. Maybe Frieza Planet 419.?

I wanted it to do a repeat of the Riccola gag from Season 1.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?
