I like 16 being stronger than 17 and 18.
Partly due to my dislike of the trope Muscles Are Meaningless.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseI've always been interested to see what an arc where 17 and 18 were the Big Bads might have looked like. And I don't mean like History of Trunks, where the damage is already done and the story is mostly personal as Trunks comes to terms with the fact that he can't change things, but like a developed story arc in which they are the major narrative force driving everything to the finish.
The same with Gero, actually. Not that I don't mind what we got at all.

Inappropriate teasing should've been the limit.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.I meant in the anime too...
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Manga Roshi's pervertedness is basically less crass, not crazy Brook.
I mean you no feelings of condescension, I just wanted to make a point that Roshi in the manga is different than in the anime, that's it. If I was coming off as condescending, I apologize, but that's no excuse for you to tell me to "check myself" (whatever that means, because I literally have no clue what it means).
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Wow. Even Chi-chi and Old-han are going ''Did he seriously just do that?''
I don't even remember that part. Turning down food is so... Un-Goku like. I mean, I remember that he was there to put out the second fire on Fire Mountain (this was another anime filler arc just before the time skip to the Saiyan arc), so maybe he was a little more stressed than usual, but still.
Crazy man. Crazy.

One Strip! One Strip! It means exactly what it says. Check your own words before calling someone else condescending or otherwise being critical.
- "like I just said about three times now.
" - yeah, we know how to read, thanks.
- "not in the manga, so it doesn't count.
" - not everyone is a manga purist.
- "[[It's not really consistent, to be honest.]]" - still a thing that totally happened, and was deemed consistent enough that they took the trouble to have it in there.
Master Roshi is a point of contention among fans.
Like.
Yeah, objectively, I accept that Master Roshi's behavior is unacceptable in real life. But, I have always placed a border between reality and fiction. I never went to school thinking I could fly, or thinking I could perform a Kamehameha. I never get offended by what Master Roshi does, even as an adult, it's funny at best and excusable at worst. This series is consistently absurd, I never take it that seriously.
But others find the character's morally obscene nature a sign of immature writing, stupid, offensive, or some combination of the three.
We all grow up differently I suppose.
But I kind of miss Pervert Roshi.
This new, take-charge Roshi, the guy who reports on power levels, lets the audience know that Vegeta is stronger than Goku despite never seeing the fight between Goku and Beerus, tells the other Z-Fighters to rush mid the God of Destruction, and calculates the number of Frieza fighters he and the rest of the group would have to face individually, within seconds...
I mean, yeah, he's amusing, but I kind of miss pervert Roshi.
