It looks like all the videos are back on youtube. I don't know how long it's been that way.
Remember that point where Roshi decided to recap the entire Red Ribbon arc for the audience, but got several key details horribly wrong? Have we gone past that part, or was it done during the 10 day wait before the Cell Games?
I don't remember that at all. Was that filler cut from Kai? Also, Roshi would only know about one or two events in the RRA Saga since he wasn't present for most of it and there's really no chance for Goku to tell anyone what happened.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!It was totally filler. I think Roshi may have told it to Maron. It most definitly wasn't in Kai. Although someone explaining just who the Red Ribbon army was would have been useful. Not using Roshi's original explanation though. Among other things he said Tao was a general and "the heart of the Red Ribbon army."
Also, Toei is monetizing the episodes now.
So that's a thing.
How TFS can get money and make episodes and not starve and die.
Admittedly, nothing's changed per se.
They haven't ever made any money on the DBZA episodes themselves. They have the disclaimer and all.
It's always been the ads on the site, and the gaming vids, and more recently the patreon.
But. Yeah.
On the bright side, DBZA is an official release now? Kinda? Sorta? In the sense that it makes Toei money?

Or at least that Kaiser does.
I'm gonna be honest, I think having to work with Super's footage would be actual torture for Kaiser.
Every episode breakdown would just be "fuck this show" over and over.
With images like this
◊ everytime he says it.
Kaiser is a stickler for animation quality.
Which, given what he does for the series, makes perfect sense.

Nah, it is more of Super being a copyright hellhole compared to GT to use footage from it. I mean, they used GT footage in Bardock Abridged.
(Also, IIRC Super has redone animation in the DVD releases. Still, modern cheapass animation, if anything use the movies)

(Sigh)
*puts on insufferable professor hat*
That SS3 Goku image is an in-between frame. A smear. A very common animation technique used to make rapid movements look more fluid
. While Super does have a lot of shit animation, that frame ain't actually an example, as the YMMV page for Super actually covers (and shows a gif of the scene in question).

Then here's some actual shit animation in exchange
◊.note
Like I keep saying, Precure seems to always get the best animators toei has to offer, while their other series tend to get the shitty outsourced ones:
This is the animation Toei should be using, but they don't want to, for some god knows what reason.

Watch SymphogearCould be the fact they've got faith.
They know that they could release this as a series of stills. This is Dragon Ball we're talking about. It's got a devoted fanbase, amazing pedigree, and since the movies already exist, they've decided they don't have to worry about the show. It's just milking the cashcow.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.

She even uses cleverness to defeat Goten and Trunks simultaneously during her subplot which, despite numerous efforts to downplay their ability, is an actual goddamn feat.
It wasn't even about that. 16 didn't just show up, die, and Gohan went SS 2. He had a long speech encouraging Gohan to stand up and fight. He spoke to Gohan instead of at Gohan, taking into account Gohan's fears and concerns and convincing him that it was okay to let go of those fears and commit everything he has to defeating Cell, not for ego or grandeur but for the sake of the world.
It's not 16's death that needs to be played up. It's the final moments of his life. He gave Gohan some actual stakes in the Cell Games. A reason to care about Cell's narcissistic ego-tournament.
