"I'm surprised they didn't bash the "why did he summon literally the only thing that could defeat him" thing that they seemed to hate so much in DZ Abridged"
I object to the idea that anything they did constitutes as "bashing" or "hatred".
...Also, the "Garlic Jr. opens the Dead Zone" thing was the thing I was referring to. Not the movie.
I should have been more specific. I apologize.

Which doesn't actually make sense.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Vegeta's appearance in Super 13 made perfect sense. You see, some Earth punk told Vegeta that he needed to chill and Bulma was kinda inclined to agree so Vegeta decided to head to the Arctic to do just that.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! They see him on the ship.
I wouldn't call their reaction "surprise".
Gratitude when he saves their bacon, yeah.
...Somehow I think you've mixed up Cooler 2 with Super 13.

It totally is. If you PM Vegetas_dads_dicks, he'll confirm it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!It was a Saiyan Pod, yeah.
The question remains why he was going to Namek though. It takes days to get there, so it's not like he was on Earth and went "Oh hey, I can sense Kakarot fighting Cooler. Imma get in on that." He was already headed there at the same time Goku was.
I also really have to wonder why Yajirobe, Oolong, and Roshi were going to Namek. In the original version, it wasn't a vacation, they were going to Namek because Dende told them of the Big Gete Star attack.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm still wondering why they love World's Strongest so much. I mean, sure, it has some cool fights, and Roshi fighting, but that's about it. Oh, and Gohan with a cape and Nyoi-Bo. I don't get why it stands out so much to them.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I've already called World's Strongest being number 1 and World's Strongest Abridged being the special after D Bcember is over. As for their comments about how the next one is also unusually bleak and contributing to the lore of the series it has to be Bardock. Which leaves Battle of Gods as number 2.
I've always preferred Bardock's special to Trunks', so I'm inclined to agree with their list on their relative placement.
As an aside, besides the original DB trilogy, the only Dragon Ball movies I used to own in VHS were the specials of Trunks and Bardock (they were packed together), and World's Strongest, so it's neat to see those three in the Top 4.
I find World's Strongest to be a movie with virtually no flaws, as well as bringing plenty of good things into the table, it's pretty much cool fight after cool fight, and it even averts Toei's habit of Goku holding back for no reason. I can definitely see why it's their favourite of the DBZ films (I like Fusion Reborn better, but meh, tastes).

Most of the movies involve a nod to the impossibility of the movie.
Christmas Tree of Might had Vegeta saying the movie was "so non-canon it hurts", and had notes that various Christmas gifts couldn't be kept as they were non-canon
Lord Slug was being watched by Vegeta on TV somewhere.
Dead Zone was a movie pitch
EOB was a story within a dream
Cooler had Icarus around despite him being eaten in Christmas Tree of Might.
I think only Cooler 2 and Super 13 didn't have such nods.
Well, unless you count Cooler 2 being a sequel to Cooler 1 as such a nod.

I have a message from another time...
