It's not ironic, it's just a funny coincidence.
Good lord, that was frustrating to look at. Seriously, just how often do you need to hit a brick wall before learning that spamming regular attacks is not going to work. I'm sure it's a really difficult mission, but they really went about it in the dumbest way possible for way too long.
Still, it was worth the watch for the heartfelt declarations of friendship, hysterical laughter and some very real gamer superstition.

I would have been frustrated by their gameplay if what they were saying hadn't been so great.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Okay, I'm watching it now, and not knowing the gameplay, about 10 seconds in I'm thinking "this is not supposed to be a melee battle." Time to see if I'm right.
Alright, that was actually a really fun video. I do prefer Tien vs. Super Buu, but the two aren't the same thing. That had the illusion of hope, and more outright hax. This had more deliberate impossibility.
Also, Nez' attacks look cool.

...Huh.
Well, that's not exactly a fair comparison. It'd be fairer to compare Bio-Broly to the Boo arc and Super to RF.
Bio-Broly basically just continues the subplot the Boo arc gave her, Super adapts the scene from RF and adds a completely unnecessary line from Kuririn telling her to make dinner.
Was that the thing about it being about Kuririn reassuring her that he wouldn't die because he'd be home for dinner? Because I ran that by Herms, a very proficient Japanese translator, and he says there's really nothing like that.
It was something fansubbers added, but nothing more than their own interpretation on the scene.
Wow, Masako X's voice sounded kind of deeper. Also, he said Vegeter instead of Vegeta.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Yeah, in season one, he hadn't adopted the high-pitch voice he now uses for Goku.

Nope not even that one.

Yeah, that was pretty funny.
Like, the first twenty minutes of that movie were really good.
