"SIR! -Stomach Elbow- I will fight you in a minute."
I loved most of the dialogue during Trunks' arrival and just how little King Cold takes Freeza seriously.
"Soldiers, do your jobs!"
"Lord Freeza, with all due respect-"
"This sounds like insubordination."
"He just cut up an entire squad of men!"
"And that sounds like it's not my problem."
Makes me laugh everytime.

...I thought the ending of Episode 44 was hilarious.
I mean, in general tragedy and comedy are two sides of the same coin. Have been since Aristotle.
Horror and comedy are both very much about building tension and then releasing it suddenly.
...I mean, I'm not sure how killing a pair of annoying, slightly racist and misogynistic D Js to the tune of "Video killed the radio star" is ever not funny.
The fact that Cell takes over the place and switched the line-up to "Hungry like the Wolf" "Killing me Softly" and "All by My-Cellf" afterwards is even better.

Yeah, episode 44's ending was great. I don't see what's a Wall Banger about it.
That said, it's why I don't like horror movies. No matter how much they're Asshole Victims, if you give them even a hint of being human, I always just wind up feeling sorry for them instead of how I should be feeling. I think it was TJ crying over Wombat that killed it for me. That was the difference between that and, say, Semi blowing up the islands he was talking with a few episodes later, which I liked.
Ah, sonder
, how I despise thee, popping in at all the wrong times with fictional works.
I did like 44's The Stinger, though.

"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerIt is. I couldn't remember so I watched it again.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'm not normally a fan of dark humour, either, but I still liked the ending to Ep 44. Maybe it was because of Cell himself. He was having so much fun with it, I was almost rooting for him. He was just that enjoyable.
If he wasn't trying to be funny, maybe I wouldn't like it.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!
Yeah, those didn't really have a point. At all. Especially now since, 1, KaiserNeko himself is in a gay marriage, and 2, Korin x Yajirobe is being treated respectfully.
...Speaking of Season 1 Yamcha, anyone know exactly why Vegeta3986 was fired? other than just being a shitty voice actor, I mean Because I can't find anything.
It was how things tend to work in Real Life: anti-climactically and on a good note. He left because reasons.

Early-Installment Weirdness? I don't know, being in a group doesn't mean you can't have fun making fun of said group. Plus he wasn't married then. And the joke was never it's bad to be gay just that there relationship seemed weird between two platonic males friends. I still get why it would weird some people out.
You know, saying someone is in a "gay" marriage sounds weird to me. He's gay and he's married, putting gay before the marriage seems like "otherizing" it. Is that a word? Is it weird I brought that up?

Edit: And even with the ending of the episode you said there was humor. It was dark humor which might not be your thing, but it wasn't played entirely straight.
