As dark as it was Freeza shooting Vegeta through the chest after doing the "Legendary Super Saiyan" speech one too many times.
Vegeta: I have a fucking hole in my chest! Why didn't you block that one!?
Goku: I thought you had it.
Vegeta: NO!

Not (much of) a joke but:
Goku: Can't you tell Freezer? It's just like Vegeta said.
Freeza: No, you fucking don't!
Goku: I am the hope of the omniverse! I am the lightbulb in the darkness! I am the bacon in the fridge for all living things that cry out in hunger! I am the Alpha, and the Amiga! I am the terror, that flaps in the night!!! I AM SON GOKU, AND I AM A SUPER-
~is shot in the face~
Goku: Saiyan.
There's just a whole bunch of random ones from the top of my head.
- "Aww, no, Iguana Street! Now I'm going to get mugged. But jokes on them, I have no money!"
- Every time Piccolo mentions the Quirky Miniboss Squad and their 'gimmicks'
- "Will you just piss off already!" "I don't need to use the bathroom!
- "Well, that settles it. You're definitely Vegeta's kid!"

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I have to go with:
GOHAN: "P-Piccolo. Why. Didn't. You DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODGE!?"

It sounded like a pun:
- "Lord Freeza, may I have a word with y-"
- "SUREYOUCAN!"
Anyway, my favourite line is probably one of Freeza's boasts:
- "If I'm as wicked as you say, let God strike me where I stand!"
- ~Lightning strikes him~
- "HA! Nice try, jackass! Next time, bring it your A-game!"
The absurdity of the scene works great. I wonder if it'll get a callback when East Kaio Shin is introduced.

While the thing immediately before it, though I didn't personally mind it, is controversial, I have to say Krillin bragging "WOOHOO! IIIII KILLED CEEEEELL!" in Episode 44 is one of my favorite moments. Along with when he got Trunks to join in the "pew pew" thing.
...the ENDING to 44 can fuck right off, though.

I think it was when Trunks first tried to wildly blast the Androids. Could be another moment, but it's definitely somewhere.
Yeah. Episode 39, I think. Krilin decides he's Vegeta's kid because of the way Trunks just blows everything up.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I think my favorite is the simple "Frieza: This is a pardoy buy the fucking show!"
I've been bingeing the series the last couple of days and I've noticed something, the whole "Goku is a terrible dad and Gohan has issues" jokes came on really suddenly. Realizing that makes me like it less and it was never one of my favorite bits to begin with.

I dunno, there was the part in Episode 10 where Goku tells Gohan to reflect the Spirit Bomb, not knowing if it would kill him or not.
But it really only picked up with Ginyu. And I guess they really liked the joke from there.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! No, Goku said "If you're good, it won't hurt you."
The joke was Gohan going "I don't think energy works like that."
What's really crazy is that when the series starts the "Goku is a bad dad" jokes, it's either one episode after, or in the same episode as "SIR! I am TALKING. To my SON. I will fight you in a minute."
My various fanfics.Let's just hope they don't milk it to death.
Seriously, if they make Gohan go Super Saiyan 2 out of his anger towards his dad, I actually won't be happy. The original scene is so iconic and it makes total sense. Changing it would be like making Goku go Super Saiyan because Freeza said he didn't like bacon.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!At the same time, though, I hope they don't forget to make it a bit silly. While transforming due to Goku would be predictable and groanworthy, turning him into a ruthless monster to play up the horror of the scene without any comic relief would, in my opinion, be even worse.
That's my problem with 44's ending, in fact; yes, TFS does pure drama well, but it's not what I follow the series for. At all.

I stand by my answer of everything from Episode 10 onwards. Team Four Star is just too good.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!
