I think most who knew about the movie knew how it actually ended.
The Archer thing was to hold up the finger to stop someone from talking to you while you don't stop drinking.
I hope Trunks gets The Tenth Doctor's theme
at some point.
Well he defeated Freeza pretty hard without it.
And
uh
Piccolo Daiamou.
And Piccolo Jr.
My various fanfics.![]()
Neither of which count because he never learned it until after he died.
Then he spammed it like newbie.
And putting down Freeza was like shooting Ol' space Yeller; he'd literally half killed himself already.

Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty. In cannon he's only ever used the Spirit Bomb three times and it only actually finished things once.
Seeing as most of Goku's fights were before he learned it, saying they don't count seems to be deliberately distorting things to serve a specific point.
But as for who he beat without it: Nappa, Recoome, Burter, Frieza, Yakon, maybe some others I'm forgetting because they don't matter.
I hope I don't have to wait a few days for the movie to show up on You Tube.
And we love him for it.
That was great.
When it gets to the Buu Saga scene, they should totally leave in Goten briefly disappearing from existence. Just to fuck with us. Maybe have Gohan realize what happened once Goten comes back, and decide it was a good thing his dad used so many beans.
One Strip! One Strip! Not the first Archer reference they've made.
After 16 punches Cell and Cell says "Got another one in ya?" is as well.
Anyway, 13 was everything I hoped he'd be. Kinda disappointed that he's fully mute after transforming, but the trucker hat billowing in the wind afterward cracked me up. As did the whole gag with Goku getting punched in the Gotens.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Wait, what happened between Goku's time with the constant heart attack and time in the HTC?
Also, I forgot to mention, this settles the whole Popo thing on the Lookout. Goku made the exact same sound effect as being hurt, so regardless of if it's "EEEE!" or "Whee!", it still can imply he's being hurt. I still hear "EEEE!", though.
The DBZ movies and canon, they do not get along well. However the next one, Broly the first, and the next next one, Bojak, CAN both fit into canon. Broly would be set during the 10 day wait for the Cell games, though really, the fact that they would all leave the planet during that time is suspect. Bojak however is explicitly said to be some time after Trunks goes back to his time and kills Cell and the androids.

Vegeta and Trunk's time in the HTC. They just sat around the Lookout for a day. Excluding that one moment where Goku used IT to save Piccolo and Tenshinhan.

Hmm. Then in the DBZA universe, if you replace this movie's Krillin with Yamcha, play up Gohan's concern that Goku's out shopping instead of worrying about the androids (until there's more androids), then this all could've taken place simultaneously as the day that Trunks & Vegeta were in the HTC and Piccolo and Tien were unreasonably eating up time, except for the fact that it would still require Piccolo, Vegeta and Trunks to be in two places at once.
Actually, if you don't have Goku and Gohan go into the HTC right when we saw them do it, this could've taken place after Cell became Perfect, but before they entered and fit perfectly. The only issue would be that Vegeta wouldn't be strong enough to beat the Big Bad on his own (Trunks wouldn't have done it in front of Vegeta if there were another way). However, that just furthers the suggestion that Super 13 actually is that strong, that you'd need Spirit Saiyan Goku to do it. Furthermore, that would also explain why Piccolo and Vegeta were in the Arctic: training for the Cell Games. Goku might put off his and Gohan's entrance in the HTC to give Yamcha and Tien time, this explains why those two even bothered showing up at the Cell Games, furthers Goku actually caring about Yamcha, shows him being considerate to Tien not wanting to be a no-count, and furthers the blatant irresponsibility that Gohan sees in Goku that he would consider giving them time first. Hell, it even would explain why Bulma and 16 weren't around or wedding shopping: she was busy fixing him. Thus, this movie would all take place in the one calendar day immediately after the next episode.
At least, that's one way to fudge the storyline to make something obviously non-canon fit.
Only issue that comes to my mind is why Gero wouldn't worry about another Cell. But, "multiverse theory", and he wants to be the one to mastermind the kill. Plus, he'd be happy that the androids that killed him would get their comeuppance.

Just in case anybody cares, here's the music that played during the finishing blow.
And the TC freeze frame music
. Which didn't include any of the lyrics in the movie.

Wait, an Archer reference? I love Archer, but I somehow missed it.
At the end, did Goku punch 13 while inside the spirit bomb?
And for those that didn't know, this is how the real movie actually ends.
