Well, Goku's wish might've fast-tracked things a little, though I'm not sure how much.
He did specifically ask for Buu to be reincarnated as a good person, but with all his power intact. Since they had some clear marching orders, the forces of heaven might have been able to pick up the pace a little.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
There is a precedent for that.
When Piccolo Daimao reincarnated into Piccolo Jr., he gained a capacity for good. My headcanon for this is because Daimao was explicitly comprised of only the Nameless Namekian's Evil, but as a new lifeform, Piccolo Jr. had the complete moral range of a normal person - but was shackled with the baggage of Daimao's identity and soul.
- Nameless Namekian - 1 part Good, 1 part Evil
- God - 1 part Good
- Piccolo Daimao - 1 part Evil
- Piccolo Jr. - 2 parts Evil, 1 part Good
Pure Buu is basically just evil incarnate. A force of annihilation with no rhyme or reason and very little that really seems to resemble an identity or even basic sentience. Suddenly having the complete moral range of a mortal entity might do a lot of the heavy lifting for them.
Frieza, by contrast, is already a mortal entity. He is evil not because he's an evil entity powered by evil and whose sole purpose is evil. He is evil because of the choices he made. He's not a god-killing abomination, he's a selfish, privileged, egotistical asshole. Frieza is a more complex form of evil than Majin Buu.
EDIT: Headcanon: That's why Frieza's reliving his defeat at the hands of the Super Saiyans in his cocoon too. It's part of the purifying process. He'll be there until he understands why. Why they fought him. Why they beat him. Why he deserved to fail.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Tonight's stream was pretty great. We've now experience the failed version of Eirran (Eirika and Kirran). It made Lani vomit everywhere. We also now know that their fusion doesn't work based on power levels but rather on blood alcohol level. Lani and Kirran fused again but, since Lani was drunker, there was a glitch in the Matrix that resulted in Lirran saying two different things at once. The defusion was also rather violent.
Oh, and we learn a bit about the application process for Team Four Star and find out that Lani can do a fairly good Sonny Strait Krillin.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!He did an impression of "that" Krillin before...it was effective, 75%.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Well I don't think it was posted, but http://teamfourstar.com/video/tfs-plays-dragonball-xenoverse-46/
new Xenoverse video a few days ago. Some squickish conversations, just a heads up.

Because she was the only one taking the mission seriously. She was in a space suit and had packed for a long space flight while Krillin packed like he was going camping for a couple of days and Chi-Chi packed like Gohan was going to a boarding school for half a year. She pretty much says as much.
The funny thing is that their ship exploded and was subsequently abandoned on a planet that also exploded.
Everything Chi-Chi packed for Gohan is now space dust. He returned with only the shirt on his back.

- CHI-CHI: Are you ready to resume your studies, Gohan?
- GOHAN: No, I'm actually not.
- CHI-CHI: ~.@ What do you mean, you're not? Go get your textbooks.
- GOHAN: You made me take them to space. Then they exploded. Then the planet exploded around them. They're gone forever.
- CHI-CHI: ...but...I packed every book...it will take years to replace them!
- GOHAN: Guess I'll just have to train with Dad while you're doing that.
At one point, Chi-Chi gathered the Dragon Balls and wished for Gohan's books to be restored. Shenron proceeded to do so.
There are now several dozen textbooks floating in space where Namek used to be.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.For those unaware, FFVII Machinabridged is out. The first two episodes, in fact.
The first one can be found on YouTube but the second is currently only on their website.
It's... okay. The Sevening and this one
are currently much better.
I beg to differ. I think the first episode of Machinimabridged for the most part blows both Sevening and the normal abridged series out of the water. It's certainly the most fun I've had with a TFS episode since, oh, the beginning of the Cell saga.
Sevening is interesting, but kinda boring. The original abridged series, while fantastic, seems to come up slightly short. Haven't watched episode 2 of Machinimabridged yet, however, so maybe it starts sucking there?
but HOW?

They just reversed the polarity of his neutron flow and stuffed him in a human.
I have a message from another time...
