That's what I figured too. Gaming had a popularity boom around the time of the PSX, and Final Fantasy VII was on the frontlines of that.
I'm pretty sure that's why Halo is the mega-franchise that it's become too.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.If you want a FFVII satire, look no further than Final Fantasy VII: The Sevening.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! There's another Final Fantasy 7 abridged series by Cloud Strife 8 that was completed. I'm currently watching it, and I think it's one of the better non-TFS abridged series I've seen. I particularly like the portrayals of the Turks, Hojo and Vincent.

The character they made for their Bloodborne streams. You need to go watch his creation.
Do not give Lani a character creation system.
Ever.

And by that, you surely mean "Always give Lani a character creation system", surely. You should see his LP of Ultimate Budoukai (or Ultimate Tenkaichi; whichever) on his channel.
TFS Plays Batman Arkham Knight
They also uploaded another Xenoverse video, but they didn't do anything new in it. I don't know why they keep uploading videos like that.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!I don't.
It's why I stopped watching their Let's Plays of Xenoverse.
Then again, I find I don't like a lot of Let's Play videos, because I want to see the game, not hear the yapping of said lets player.
I can deal with it, but then when said player is say, fucking around non-stop and constantly losing because he wants to make jokes all the time instead of trying to actually play the game, I call MOTHERFUCKING SHENANIGANS TO THE HEAVENS THEMSELVES!!!!!!
.......So yeah.
One Strip! One Strip!Lots of games have longplays and walkthroughs online.
And I can sometimes just play a game myself.
I like let's plays that are informative or entertaining or both.
...To be honest, I think the Xenoverse LP peaked a while back, but there's a few things I want to see them do.

And despite literally playing video games for a living they are unable to overcome the simplest challenges because they are too stupid to experiment. It's like if someone claimed to be an expert on doors and used to make videos about operating doors, then came up to a door that said pull, and instead of pulling he pushed on the door for five minutes, constantly yelling and screaming about how poorly designed the door was because he could not open it.

I think it's fair to critique something because it's not handled the best way or something is unintuitive.
Frankly my favorite let's play is probably this
.

My various fanfics.I only watch 100% run LPs, speed runs (especially TASes), or ones where the commentator is hilarious. Scykoh and Chuggaconroy are my go-to LPers for the first (especially since they're usually very informative) while TFS and pokecapn and his posse are my go-to guys for the latter.
I usually don't mind when they're dicking around and failing because they're often hilarious.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I don't mind them doing Parallel Quest missions. It's just annoying when they don't even complete one in an episode. They used to cut out all the grinding.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!Like, GG was playing Spore, and they ran the joke that their creation looked like a penis into the ground for almost 45 minutes.
There was One Sane Man among them, but I didn't see him in any newer videos, because I assume he left.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else

There was a decent VII Abridged
by Sons of Satire awhile ago, but they never finished it. Still, there was some great material there.
