You don't get it. We're, or at least I'm, facepalming you.
Even if you're trying to be sensitive, you're going about it in an increasingly indelicate way, not only assuming "ebonics", but that some black communities equal impoverished communities. Maybe you mean well, but just think about what you're saying some more.
Back on the subject of Little Kuriboh and Team Four Star, it has always irked me when they joke about race especially, and to a lesser but still present extent, homosexuality. Even if one or more of them is gay, it still doesn't make certain jokes more palatable to me.

I "got it" thanks.
I suppose I can be faulted for my lack of precision.
...You're right, "impoverished communities" was exactly the wrong way to describe the origin of Ebonics.
Frankly, the "big Ghetto Star" part of the line is also what lead me to that conclusion.
...And some familiarity with some of their sense of humor in general. I think they were there when LK did that Ebonics series joke thing.
...Also, it's late, and I'm tired, and that tends to affect my thinking (or lack thereof) rather a lot.

Also, I don't recall the gay jokes living past Season 1 back when VegetaNumbers was on the writing staff.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I swear, we need some page that just explains every joke in every episode of DBZA. Like, as reference material.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! There was also the Iguana Street gag from the Lord Slug movie. I thought it was pretty clever though.
Which was also a Goku line.
Abridged Goku appears to be casually racist and/or classist. It's due to "Married to a Chinese Princess" privilege, I think. Goku explains his understanding of economic principles and proposes his solution to low-income lifestyles here:
- PICCOLO: Why would you even bring your weighted gear?
- GOKU: Why did you?
- PICCOLO: Because unlike you, I don't have a house to leave them in.
- GOKU: Why don't you just buy one with the Ox King's money?
- PICCOLO: What world do you live in?
- GOKU: One with a house. And a wife. And a son!
- PICCOLO: ...I really don't care for you right now.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Fixed that for ya.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Goku's gotta figger out a way to keep young ones moral after school?
Well, he did a good job with Gohan. So I guess the solution to keeping the young ones moral is to have them raised by Satan - oh dear, I've gone cross-eyed.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.- GOKU: Aw, great, Iguana Street. Now I'm gonna get mugged. But the joke's on them, I HAVE no money!
Just in case anyone thought he was just equating poor neighborhoods with mugging, he later adds,
- GOKU: Hey, you wouldn't be related to King Piccolo, would you? I hope that doesn't sound racist. I've gotta be careful about that, we're still on Iguana Street.

I'm pretty sure "x ain't no one's fool" is a reference.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone else
