I thought they liked having new episodes to debut at conventions?
Nappa is one of the 10 Elites of the Saiyan race. It only makes sense that he'd know one of the only two Super Elites (King Vegeta and Prince Vegeta). And I can't seem to track down where this is from, but he was apparently the general of the saiyan army, but take that with a truckload of salt. Like seriously.

I was trying to find the source for that, but it seems that what actually happened was that the French used "Cachalot" for one film, and changed it in later films (Apparently going with "Caroto").
Lucky you. The Portuguese version brought back "Cachalot" for GT. And since Vegeta suddenly started saying it out of nowhere, it just sounded like the weirdest insult ever.

It's interesting how they split up a lot of the jokes about the human characters (and mostly about Krillin) , especially in contrast to the early days where all that humor went to Krillin and the rest of them came off as kind of flat. Yamcha gets the "so easily taken out by anything its ridiculous" gags, Chiaozu gets the "I've died a lot / Death Is Cheap" gags, Tien gets the Can't Catch Up angst, and Krillin - being more prominent - gets a little bit of all three, plus general unluckiness and more plot stuff. Helps give them all something to do whenever they're onscreen.
Kinda random, but it's just something I've been thinking about. In general TFS has done a great job giving every character something that's funny or interesting about them, that makes them entertaining even if they barely have a role.

I wasn't talking about the series. He's used it in reference to the abridged character with the owned count.
I've never actually seen him use Frieza unless specifically talking about the dub name. Although that might partially be due to Kanzenshuu's word filter.

Yeah Kanzenshuu has this really fucking stupid filter for certain dub names. Frieza to Freeza, Fasha to Selypa, Tien to Tenshinhan, Pikkon to Paikuhan, Hercule to (The H Word), uh... can't remember what else.
At best, it confuses the shit out of people who don't know about the filter and can't understand someone's comment about the dub due to dub terms being filtered. Which is exactly the opposite stated point of it, and yet half the users cling to it and counter any requests that it be laid to rest.
Bleh. Absolutely loathe that thing.
That explains a lot. I wondered how absolutely everyone in that forum remembered the original spellings...
Kuririn is the name that I just can't make myself start saying. I've started saying Tenshinhan, but Kuririn...it's just too much of a mouthful. And, I mean, Krillin isn't THAT wrong.
(Although, what's wrong with Hercule? It makes total sense why they changed it. If they kept it accurate, SOMEONE in America would have complained. Especially during the Spirit Bomb scene.)

The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby!
