Cross posted from the Dragonball thread in the anime:
I wonder how they will deal with the whole Goku chooses not to beat Buu because he want's Goten and Trunks to do it in Abridged?
He is Goku so it will probably be something silly and funny, but I'm also hoping there's some better logic to it than in the main series, just to surprise us.
Like maybe have him say he didn't expect Super Saiyan 3 to work in the living world and didn't want to rely on it, or something like that. Or just some really silly reason that also makes complete sense at the same time.

Kaiser's The Perfectionist.
I have to say, more power to him though.

It's a good enough reason for me. A lot of people seem to not recognize just how powerful of a tool music is.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!To put it into terms Dragon Ball fans can understand, music isn't just some level of power, not entirely at least, it's more like a multiplier. If the music and the scene coincide perfectly and are harmonious then the result will be far greater than the sum.
What you basically have to do is take a song that can stand on its own and combine it with a scene that can stand on its own and make sure the two parts convey the same emotions.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Yeah, the Buu Saga of Kai has made me realise music in DBZ is REALLY important. If it's not right, it can take you out of the story completely.
The *Legendary* Super Saiyan is motivated by a crying infant! He is a literal giant f***ing baby! Also, DBZ Abridged doesn't have a composer to do original scoring for scenes - the same guy who does the visual editing also has to hunt for preexisting songs himself and then do their own additional editing to ensure that said songs actually work when remade as incidental accompaniment.
Or in short, yeah. Music is important.

Seriously, this is still an amazing theme.
He can be wrong.

Which is a shame, since when Faulconer made a good theme, Faulconer made a damn good theme. Super Vegeta, Regular Vegeta, all Cells, Ginyu, Future Trunks, and Super Buu had amazing themes. I'm pretty miffed with the "hardcore" DBZ fandom for not acknowledging Faulconer's work because "It's not like the Japanese".
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."Speaking of Japanese,i kinda wanna see that version of the SSJ 3 transformation.Should be fun.

So is Dende going to be really jealous over Gohan and mean to Videl in this series?
Because Abridged!Dende ended up kind of a jerk.
