I definitely like the idea of Gohan getting past his resentment of Goku since they spend almost an entire year together, it'd make sense and it'd be really easy to make funny and have alot of depth to it.
But we'll see how Kaiser, Lani and Taka handle the script, since they do all the script writing. It'll be interesting, to say the least.
They'll probably retcon Uub out of existence. No one will ever be stronger than Goku. Never ever. Banned.
My various fanfics.Goku never taught Instant Transmission
Characters don't really teach moves at all in Dragon Ball. Like, Kame-sennin teaches the Kamehameha, God teaches ki sensing, and Kaio-sama teaches the Genki-Dama and Kaioken, but that's about it. Most of the attacks, including the Kamehameha and ki sensing in some cases, are either cribbed off watching other fighters do them or invented wholesale.
Like, nobody taught anyone the Solar Flare, everyone just started doing it after Tien showed it off at the Tenkaichi Budokai. Nobody taught everyone bukujutsu either, but everybody learned it at some point. Gohan invented his own beam attack, the Masenko, during his training with Piccolo instead of Piccolo teaching him the Makankosappo.
If you were to ask Goku why he never taught teleportation to anyone else, he'd probably answer your question with a question, "Why didn't anyone bother to learn it?"
Suddenly, GT is Gone!
GT's BEEN gone. GT hasn't been the Official Sequel since Online. That isn't news. Xenoverse tossed GT a bone by letting it be an alternate universe, which is closer to canonizing it than anything produced after GT ended has ever been.
As for liking it or not, GT had some good concepts but poor execution of those concepts.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I dunno, I can kinda see it. Like Vegeta was pretty smart during their first ever fight way back in the Saiyan Saga and was real smart during the Namek Saga but then Goku went all Super Sandwich and that was that and Vegeta spent the rest of the series playing catch up.
And some of Vegeta's moves are just plain better than everyone else's. Like Final Flash is much stronger than the Kamehameha. If Cell would have sat just still long enough he could have ended the arc all by himself.

Oh really when?Their entire characterizations were that Goku was the one with the skill who needed superior technique to catch up to stronger opponents, and Vegeta was the obscenely powerful one who loved the biggest, stupidest, flashiest explosions and fought with all the finesse and technique of a bazooka.
My various fanfics.Yeah but biggest and flashiest super beams are sort of the best techniques in this series though. Smart things like the Hellzone Grenade will never compare because that's just not how things work.
And that being the case Vegeta does have the best moves in the series but Goku has the higher power levels and multipliers.
Oh really when?Vegeta wasn't particularly smart during their fight on Earth. He was experienced, which is not the same thing. He had the power and the skills to deal with the evolving combat zone, but the only thing he ever did that wasn't "Be stronger, win fight" was severing Gohan's tail after he became the Oozaru by cribbing Krillin's kienzan.
Vegeta was a juggernaut during that fight, that had to be overcome through superior tactics, intelligence, and teamwork.
Once he arrived on Namek, Vegeta's idea of fighting smarter was to have Krillin blow a hole in his chest so he could zenkai into a Super Saiyan. He spent the entire time on Namek still being that same juggenaut from Earth, trying to brute force his way through every enemy he encountered, succeeding when his strength was greater, getting wrecked when it didn't.
This is how Vegeta operates. The idea that Vegeta is a better fighter than Goku is utterly ridiculous. Goku's fights have a lot of leeway for the tactics, special attacks, and crazy on-the-spot ideas he brings to the party. Vegeta's fights are a static measurement of "Who is the stronger? That guy wins!" because Vegeta is a glowing sledgehammer who shines brightly for a few shining moments, then burns out.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Vegeta has no skill. He's never needed skill. He was born already a superpowered freak of nature. His only strategy was to brute force his opponent to death with ungodly strength and horrific toughness.
My various fanfics.Yup, Vegeta is the one lacking in skill. If Goku could produce the Final Flash, he would've defeated Cell by teleporting. If Vegeta could produce the Instant Transmission, there's no guarantee that he would've remembered to use it, because he never really came up with creative attacks other than "hit it really hard". Heck, the ki-blast-spam-that-never-works is often considered to be his signature skill.
Meanwhile, Goku took advantage of Freeza not being able to sense ki, hit Ape Vegeta in the eyes, used a foot Kamehameha to get inside Piccolo Jr., and used a Kamehameha to headbutt an opponent who was immune to Kamehamehas.
@Tobias: Kame Sennin never taught anybody the Kamehameha, everyone copied off of him, too!

So there's gonna be a new dragonball anime, guys. For real this time.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."
