I mean, there was something rather delightful about Tenkaichi 3's sheer ridiculous number of characters. It was unbalanced as fuck, but there was still a charm to it, I thought.
...Then what's the "Age 850" caption supposed to mean?
I mean, if anything it'd be from somewhere very much inside of time. At the center of it. The heart.

I like the large number of characters because I like playing out my own stories with the games. More characters and stages means more freedom to do that.
I just find the cost of it to be too high, especially for Dimps. Dimps have always produced really good combat and character variation, I don't want to see them stray from that.
I would be completely fine with them bringing Spike back to make games that focus on roster and stage size, maybe if they alternated between the two they could produce games for both niches while also giving each developer more time to focus on their games.

If he transforms naturally, from the moon, he would be at 180,000. The power ball he uses always cuts his battle power, and he was injured in the fight with Goku. Goku still said a Kaio-ken x5 wouldn't be enough, so he was over 40,000.
A lot of video games ignore this and say he was still at 180,000 but the very first game to use battle powers gave his weakened Ozaru state a battle pwer of 70,000.

Alrigh. So, the last few chapters of Bravely Default:
There's really no reason the party should have chosen to not break a crystal after the nature of the betrayal was spelled out to them. A scene in the Holy Pillar actually does give a reason, where they say (paraphrasing) that they know there is a real enemy, the "source of all this darkness", that will arrive when the pattern counts down.
This s all well and good, but here's the thing. They do not know that. They learn that, but only in the short ending, which is not part of the full ending. not only that, but the big reveal scene in chapter 8 has them go back to not knowing.
It's just kind of a mess of inconsistent motivations and knowledge.
I have a message from another time...Yep. Without the battle damage he took prior to using the False Moon and whatever power subtraction the False Moon inflicted on him - I don't remember that element, but Saiga said it, so I assume it's true - Oozaru Vegeta's battle power would be equivalent to Goku's arrival on Namek plus the standard Kaioken. Also of interest:
- Oozaru Nappa's battle power would be on the low end of a Ginyu.
- Oozaru Raditz's battle power would be weaker than Base Vegeta.
- Oozaru Gohan's battle power was barely stronger than Goku's base, which means Vegeta actually could have handled the kid if he wasn't so thoroughly trashed by the battle that he was running entirely on fumes at this point.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Well that assumes 981 was Gohan's full power, but Kuririn and Piccolo were suppressed at the time of those readings so I think he would be as well.
At the very start if the Namek arc he was said to be around 1500. I think that would have been his full power in the Saiyan arc, unless he got a tiny Zenkai.
Either way, yeah, Vegeta would have been able to handle him if not for his exhaustion and damage as he said himself.
@Enlong: I see. Maybe if they had done something along the lines of Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors, and its multiple endings. Have you ever played that game?

Oh God! Natural light!

No, not literally. As unnoun said, it's an anagram of the Japanese term for vegetable (yasai). It doesn't have any actual meaning.
@Rin I wouldn't want that. It's simply not feasible to have that many characters and have each one be fleshed out.
I prefer the game to focus on a smaller roster of characters and instead make those characters super indepth. Not leaving out forms etc.
Hypothetically, if there was infinite time and budget devoted to it, then sure. Only then.
