Speaking of firing blasts in random directions, can you get Hellzone Grenade in Xenoverse?
Also, this one NPC is dealing with distortiona in the Dragonball era that make me want to check out that time. Apparently, Demon King Piccolo has fused with Kami, and his army of demons have basically razed Earth to the ground in their war with Red Ribbon's army of androids.
I have a message from another time...That is completely true but it'd be less shitty if you specialise in ki blasts.
The first physical Ultimate you get is pretty unreliable, as well, given that it's just based on Gohan's uncontrolled headbutt on Raditz but repeated a couple of times.
You can unlock one of Raditz' ki-based Ultimates early enough and that's quite good. I'm tempted to use the Dragon Balls to wish for Ultimates in the hope I get something relevant. I feel I wasted my first wish on SS4 Gogeta when the pre-order SS4 Vegeta actually seems more potent for grinding...
You don't get it from Piccolo's training, at least. Piccolo himself has the move but I don't know if CaCs can get it.

Yep. When people who don't preorder get the bonuses and people who did preorder don't, it is evidence that this entire concept of preorder bonuses is bullshit.
You're spinning a roulette wheel either way.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.Well, that's your opinion. Personally, I do think that internal consistency is important, if only because contradictions can cause me to spend too much time worrying about them when there are more important things to talk about. Granted, these are the sorts of things that I'd do my best to plot out beforehand. I guess it doesn't really matter.
Oh God! Natural light!![]()
Well, not when you're dealing with digital distribution.
I'd also disagree with that claim, it's going to be different for everyone. For me consistency is important because it's just not that hard in a lot of cases.
Not even trying to keep things consistent just screams a lack of care to me.

I care about consistency because I'm trying to get invested in the world, not a specific character or theme or message. I'm more concerned with how, say, Goku's fateful battle with Frieza ties into and affects the universe in which the two characters live, than with how Frieza getting bisected by his own kienzan applies to my every day life.
I live my life well enough without Goku's help. Goku should focus on living Goku's life.

My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.I don't get why anyone should care, to be honest.
It's never struck me as that important, aesthetically.
I mean, it does depend. Some inconsistency can be bad, and harm a story.
But. A contradiction or a plot hole in and of itself isn't a bad thing to me.
I mean, some people like ripped jeans these days, and lace and doilies have the holes as part of the design of the pattern.
I think sometimes a gap can be beautiful in its own right.
I think that comparing logical gaps to physical gaps isn't the most useful metaphor.
Or maybe I'm just personally disliking plot holes because one (in my opinion) messed up the final act of Bravely Default quite badly, and that's a story I otherwise liked.

I have a message from another time...I'd be sorely tempted to get Xenoverse just to play with character creation, but I couldn't possibly justify $50 just for that in my current financial state. Not to mention it would probably barely run, if at all, on my computer, and the only consoles I have are a Wii and PS 1.
But for reals, I want to make an army of Xenoverse alts so baaaaad.
I haven't finished that game yet (I generally like "Groundhog Day" Loop/Alternate Universe plots, but this doesn't really try to do much with the concept, and it's a something of a chore to go through it all for the best ending), but I do know the basic story. Which plot hole are we talking about here.
@unnoun: Well, like I said, I find that plot holes distract me from things that actually are pretty important.
Oh God! Natural light!Erm, I'm not sure how much I should say, as the plot hole involves the major plot twist.
Suffice it to say that the last few chapters require that the party act on information they can't possibly have, which is ignored when it's time for a dramatic reveal of a plot twist that not even the title screen is pretending you don't know by that point.
I have a message from another time...So wait.
I skimmed a few things. And.
Well, spoilers, because I haven't played much of it yet, but.
Does Xenoverse make it so that the Episode of Bardock actually happened? Did the Supreme Kai of Time try to take Bardock away from Planet Vegeta and to her Time Love Nest for a booty call and end up making a mistake in her haste?
I like this explanation because it's funny.
Supersaiga. Got it. I don't think that's you though, since I don't see Xenoverse in your library. Still sent an invite.
Edit: Never mind. Found an Aussieman named Saiga that has Xenoverse. I assume that is you!

"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."@Enlong: Well, I think I know what you're talking about anyway (and even before I started looking up twists I trusted that fairy about as far as I would throw her - which considering her size, might actually be pretty far, so never mind.). You can go right ahead if you want.

Oh God! Natural light!Right now I only get 15 FPS and I'm still loving it. It's certainly one of the best Dragon Ball games I've played, and I played a lot of them.
It has numerous issues but there is so much good stuff here that those issues don't drag it down. If we can get a sequel that addresses the issues and continues on the good parts of the game, I will be so happy.
It has some similarities to Battle of Z with the team battles but gives you much more freedom (only goes up to 3 v 3 however).

In addition to being ki-type, the first Ultimate is also shit.
At least when characters do beam spamming in the show, they arc their beams to hit their target. This move just shoots beams in random directions and hopes some of them hit something. It's the shittiest move.
The only way to get even a decent amount of damage out of it is to fire it at point-blank range so a majority of the beams hit your guy - and that's assuming you get lucky and one of your partners doesn't knock him out of the way.
