For all we know, Trunks did it to try and preserve the timeline as much as possible (remember, he only interfered because he thought Goku was late).
He probably figured that keeping things at least slightly on track was a good idea.
Of course, since he knew he wouldn't actually change anything, it's more likely that he just did it by accident or it just happened during the course of the battle, and wasn't something he was actively trying to prevent or invoke.
One Strip! One Strip! It really depends on what Kaio did. He was the only one who could find New Namek, and the only one who could communicate with the dead or the living. He's helped out before, so I don't think he'd have any problem with this.
However, the Cell arc shows he doesn't pay attention to Earth on his own volition, and Earth has no way to contact him. So if the other dead spirits went to heaven instead of Kaio's planet, nothing would happen.
The characters probably just didn't think of how they could have gotten to New Namek. It takes Goku to think of even going there to replace the Dragon Balls, and Kaio has to offer his help when Goku is trying to find it from Kaio's planet. Bulma likely just thought "well New Namek is out since I can't find it" and Kaio wasn't listening to her at that exact moment in time.
If they'd known Kaio could help them, Trunks could have killed himself, hope he's worthy to get a body, request permission to visit Kaio, then get Kaio to help him.
Makes sense to me.
You know, considering Kaiou is supposed to watching out for Earth (or at least, for planets in that particular quadrant) and that crazy things tend to happen around there, he's kinda lazy bitch.
One Strip! One Strip! All it would need is the general spatial coordinates really.
How much do you expect it to move?
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, if we can predict where the earth will be in the summer of 2198, I think a Namekian spaceship could also find its way home after a few centuries, even with wonky 3-sun orbit. It probably works with magic, too.
So, about Future!Kaio... assuming he stopped paying attention to earth, that Goku can't go to him because he died of natural causes, that Piccolo might have been the first to die, leading to Kami not retaining the bodies of Vegeta, Krillin, Yamcha and Tenshinhan... Yeah, I guess it is possible Kaio-telepathy really might be out of the question for that future, surprisingly enough.
Though Kami should be able to keep Piccolo's body at least, I mean he did it once already. Maybe he ran out of favours with Enma?

Well, no person can enter more than twice, or spend more than 2 years' worth of accelerated time in there. It ain't as spammable as the Training Gate.
I have a message from another time...Piccolo did use it, he got a full day before the Perfect Cell fight. Vegeta and Trunks use the thing again before the fight too, they didnt get that big of a power increase though. Vegeta, Trunks and Piccolo were about equal to the Cell Jrs during that fight IIRC.
And Buu cheating thing was something that they really did not think was possible till he did it.

Namek they had no trouble finding, but New Namek they had no idea about since it wasn't located in the same place (they went to an uninhabited planet that suited their needs rather than creating a new one) and was apparently much further away.
Yes. Vegeta and Trunks both went in for a second trip during the 10 day wait for the Cell Games, they went separately that time because of the minor falling out they had (violently attacking each other). Piccolo goes in during the Boo arc, but not to train.
Piccolo used it, that's what I was talking about before when Goku called him useless, he was commented on Piccolo's results from training in the room.
The sucky humans didn't use it because they suck. Ten says himself that there is absolutely no point, and nobody offered it to Yamcha.

Well, the three still got relatively big power increases compared to the levels they were at before, especially since Vegeta and Trunks mastered Super Saiyan, but just not as big as Goku/Gohan did since they trained separately.

Didn't Piccolo enter twice during the training for the Cell Games? I know he, Vegeta, and Trunks spent the remaining (week?) before the Cell Games training at the lookout.

Probably for the best, given how much they suck.
The Hand Wave for why the Room of Spirit and Time has never come up before is that it almost killed Goku. Given the huge power disparity between the sucky humans and the Saiyans, they might not have fared any better.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub.So wait.
When the door disappears, can more people still go in there?
Would they find the previous occupant?
What if Buu or Gotenks or somebody with Vice Shout went in there multiple times after the limit?
Also, is that enough food for two people, or two Saiyans? Because you could probably fit a lot of Namekians in there as long as you didn't run out of water.
Piccolo is used to meditating on rocks, so I don't think the beds would be an issue.

King Kai has telepathy.
That he can use to contact people that are alive.
And that he can use to serve as an intermediary between the Other World and the living world.
