In the Tenkaichi Budokai tournaments that Dragonball used to focus on, when Yamcha got his leg broken in a match, everyone (Bulma, Puar and Launch) left the arena to go keep him company at the hospital. When Tao Pai Pai beat the shit out of Chiatzou, everyone just shipped him off to the hospital and nobody but Tien seemed to give an iota of a fuck.
Maybe Chiatzou is just a massive dick offscreen and nobody likes him.
"If you weren't so crazy I'd think you were insane."I use to hate him...I got over it, now I'll just occasionally beat him up in Tenkaichi 3.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice. It was a gradual increase...so by the time he died he was there.

That, yes.
Official materials gave Krillin's battle power as of the battle with Frieza to be 75,000. Guru's unlock effect was a gradual increase; he'd only risen to around 10,000 as of the Ginyu battle, but his and Gohan's power continued to increase to 75,000 and 200,000, respectively.
My Tumblr. Currently side-by-side liveblogging Digimon Adventure, sub vs dub. That's just natural though...hidden potential is stuff you could already do but just need someone to force it out because you didn't even know you had it to begin with. It happens slowly, but much faster than doing it yourself.

Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Vegeta says that's a gradual thing. Heck, since the 75,000 was only at the start of the fight, we don't even know when it stopped.
Also after getting one-shot by Recoome Kuririn was able to kick Goku-Ginyu around who was around Zarbon's strength. So in that time he would have doubled where he was in the Recoome fight.
