Paragus is on. Goku actually looks good in a suit.

Also, Paragus' non-Big Green voice sucks. Big Green is the best.

Wow. The Broly movie was a whole lotta nothing.

Wimp Vegeta is hilarious, though.

Indeed. I tuned away for most of it. I'm surprised it was so memetic outside of Big Green. And the music was boring.

Wimp Vegeta was priceless. It was kinda dull that they extended the movie by like 5 minutes out of Vegeta being Too Dumb to Live, though. "Why should I give my power to a Saiyan of a lower class than me?" "Because if you don't, you will actually die, and soon, dumbass."

So how in the hell did Bibidi control Kid Buu, anyway?

I'm thinking that he held him in a ridiculously durable cage and only let him out when it was time to kill things.

I thought it was because that ball Buu was in was initially to contain him until Bibidi found a world he wanted to release him in.

The Supreme Kai just killed Bibidi before he could let him out again and left him there or killed bibidi and then found the spell to seal him in there or something.

Bibidi was implicitly controlling kid Buu from the time they met until the time he fused with that one Kai, and from then on he was controlling the easier to manage Fat Buu until he sealed him.

[up][up][up] It wasn't really made clear in the manga how much control Bibidi had over Boo. It could be that he's just not as shitty at life as his son is.

To Babidi's credit, he managed to enslave the being who seems to qualify as Dragonball's equivalent of the Devil.

It's just his father said, "F'ck that" and built a creature stronger than God with his own dark magic summoned a primordial creature and made it into his own personal WMD.

One thing I totally look forward to if they get there is Goku vs Uub since he has to piss off Uub and he does it in such a childish way that it's just hilarious.

I always assumed that to be the case. I mean, Bibidi managed to not get himself killed by Pure Buu, who was totally off his nutter.

Babidi couldn't even control Fat Buu, who was the easiest one to control arguably.

That's a level of fail that you couldn't achieve if you trained for it.

I think Kid Buu would have just as easily obliterated Bibidi as anything else - Fat Buu was only as agreeable as he was for as long as he was because of the innocence he had in him.

Maybe Bibidi's "control" of Buu was more along the lines of setting Buu down on a target, running a really long distance away, and releasing him when he's out of the blast radius. Then he would move in after the carnage and cast the spell to seal Buu before Buu was able to attack. And even that has problems because of how fast and unpredictable Buu is, and how much damage he can cause effortlessly.

One thing's for sure. Bibidi was a really lucky guy.

I hope the episodes call attention to the ridiculousness of the "Cell Games" like in these videos. "So if we knock you out of the ring, do you just give up?"

According to recent interview retcons, yeah.

I wonder if Toriyama's planning to do anything with these recent retcons or if he's just doing it for the hell of it.

Toriyama's being very Rowling these days. The series is basically over, barring a few totally new stories every once in a while, so he can just throw whatever ideas he never really got a chance to develop out there... or whatever he wants, really... and he doesn't have do a blessed thing with any of them.
